Marcin's improvisations make any music he plays his. Simply brilliant.

Lol you noticed, Marcin never arranges things in any "typical" fashion, but always changes things up. :-)) Also the flamenco interlude in his Paganini no5, Marcin just stuck in there. But you knew that. It is not originally Paganini. [But it is lovely nd fits seemlessly. Kudos again, Maestro Marcin. :-)))]

From what I have read he's a child prodigy who had no teacher. When he was 10 years old he was free to develop his skills and style of playing.

Victor West Marcin began playing guitar at 9 and a half or 10 and was initially trained for classical under Jerzy Pikor. Then trained for Flamenco under Carlos Pinana. So he has had extensive training and practices like he loves music passionately! [He was studying college level music theory at age 15.] Yes at some point, Marcin branched out nd developed his own style of melding different genres together, with his percussive guitar playing. But his music foundation IS classical nd he says its benefits are "unmatched." Best. :-))

Ellis is the only person on the whole web who didn’t say that Marcin is an exceptional, extremely talented young man ! Really cool ? Marcin is way better then really cool. It’s almost like you could sense a little scent of jealousy in Ellis’s comments ! 🤨

I do not think it is like that. Every musician who reacts to Marcin says a few lines, but one can see they are stunned as it is such an unusual experience, because they really can't find how to qualify it. There is no pattern to compare to, no proper words to say. 💖🇨🇱

No way. Ellis is too comfortable with being himself on camera. His dry but humorous personality brings a fresh musical experience while watching his videos. I'm actually glad he's not thinking in to be liked by the masses but be true to himself. That pays off immensely over time.

Actually, he was a classical guitar prodigy, playing the most difficult pieces by age 12. including Paganini Caprices. Check out his interpretation of Caprice 24.

Marcin can play any sentimental music of any guitar players but he doesn’t have a “box” on his head - he gets from the guitar as much as he can and loves to enjoy not be formal !!! He has own inspiration and for me is genuinely genius. ❤ one of the kind from another world. His technique is blowing the mind.

Refreshing to listen to. Many years ago Carlos Montoya, the worlds greatest flamingo guitarist came to Alaska twice. First time to Fairbanks while I was in college. Second time to Anchorage and both were fantastic. This performance has some of that flavor. Excellent
