From the very west to the very east (3 time zones), those are the good ones made in the video. My suggestion Bali incl Ubud and Nusa Penida Island (4 days), Komodo Island incl Padar Islandon vessel (4 days), Yogyakarta, Borobudur and Prambanan Temple (4 Days), Bromo East Java (2 Days), Raja Ampat is a bit too far away unless you have more time. All these plus your travel time from East coast back and forth already took 2.5 days and domestic Indonesia travel will take 2-3 days by itself, so 2 weeks is minimum to 3 weeks is comfortable. On hotels, you can stay in Air BnB in all those places. Its impossible to see all Indonesia even in a year time. Raja Ampat is like you are travelling from New York to San Francisco, 6-7 hours flight incl transit and its only worth it if you take at least one week for the Raja Ampat trip. So consult your travel agent. Best flight timing is New York/Boston/DC to Bali, then fly to Komodo Island, back to Surabaya to see Bromo then Yogyakarta, fly back to New York via Jakarta or Bali - all this can be done in 14-18 days. While in Bali, you can rent a scooter, in Komodo Islands, you will be in staying in a vessel, Surabaya to Bromo and in Yogyakarta, can use local public transportation.

There are many more tourist attractions in Indonesia spread across 38 provinces. I, as an Indonesian citizen, have only visited parts of it, for example Medan, Lake Toba, Bengkulu, Lampung, Jakarta, Bandung, Bogor, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Mount Bromo, Malang, Banyuwangi, Bali, Lombok, Gili Trawangan, Balikpapan, Makassar, Palu, Kendari , Manado, Bunaken Island. It is true that visiting all tourist objects in Indonesia takes years. If you only have 1 month, visiting Bali might not be enough. Please, Bro Ellis, choose a tourist location in Indonesia that you like. Usually, those who visit Indonesia for the first time will choose the islands of Bali and Lombok. Have a nice trip.

This video basically only shows half part of Indonesia, which is the eastern part of Indonesia - except for Borobudur Temple, Mount Bromo, and Ubud - but all beaches and islands (also Komodo) shown are in the eastern part The western part and eastern part of Indonesia is totally different especially related to nature (animals and plants) If you've ever heard about Wallace Line, the western part has similarity with the asian biodiversity - tiger, orangutan, small bear, heavy rainforest, big trees etc while the eastern part is closely similar to the australian biodiversity - komodo, horse, savanna, drier forest, etc As for the people, the western part has strong influences from India, China, Arab and Europe, while the eastern part mostly influenced by European (during colonialism) but also from Africa (thousand years ago) making the culture, singing and music tradition also very different between the east vs the west Speaking of mountain, in east Indonesia, there's Mount Tambora (with beautiful scenery too) which once had exploded, causing "A year without summer" in Europe While in western part, there's Lake Toba, the largest lake in the world, which is actually a caldera (filled with water) after the explosion of Mount Toba ±70.000 years ago. Mount Toba supervolcano explosion was the second biggest after Yellowstone - that said also contributed to a 1,000 year cooling period (ice age) I mean, there are still many things to explore in Indonesia 😁🙏 not only beaches and tropical islands, although they are indeed super gorgeous ❤️

My sister lives in Denver and she travels back home once every year. She always buys her flight ticket for like around $1,100-$1,300 to Jakarta. Then from Jakarta, you can take a domestic flight to Bali, or travel across Java coz Java island is also amazing. Then you make a cross to Bali by ferry from Banyuwangi. When you are in Banyuwangi, you can go to Ijen Crater that spills blue lava, which is also a very famous spot in Indonesia. After you arrive in Bali, you can travel around Bali first (make sure to visit Nusa Penida Island while you are in Bali) then go to Lombok and/or Labuan Bajo (Komodo National Park) by domestic flight. You cannot combine your trip to Raja Ampat, that'd be for your next visit if you don't have enough time. Sumba Island and Kakaban Island have also become another famous spot to visit as well in Indonesia. Abd the largest volcano lake in the world, Toba Lake is located in Sumatera.

Mister, I am Indonesian, and many others and we are just common people, but I have ever gone to the western Indonesia, Sumatra, Bali Island, And Borneo Island.. Almost a half of Indonesian archipelago...Even my neighbors went to Seram Island in Maluku province and Papua Island ,the most east of Indonesia. They traded and applied jobs.. I have ever read on the text book of Global geography, that the distance of California to Boston, or the most east of coastal region of US is equal..if being compared..but i am proud of you, the one that is proud to our beautiful country and even react to a lot of our talented people in music and singing like ALIP BATA, the most talented fingerstyler...😅😂

except for Raja Ampat, as an Indonesian I visited all the other places mention in this video. But to narrow the places (to visit) in Indonesia to only 10 places, is like only scratching the surface. But at least thats a good start. For rice, we have many local organic rice that starting to gain new interest after the dictatorship gone. So now, other than white rice, you can taste red rice, black rice, brown rice or purple rice. But off course, to experience this, you need to dig deeper that regular tourist visitation to my beloved Country. Cant wait to your vlog when your feet touch my land for real someday
