If anybody in upper management in MinRes was found to do a fraction of what Ellison done at the company, they would be terminated immediately and dragged like dogs by Ellison himself in the media. It was gross negligence and it’s unknown what else has been done where the tracks were covered better that will never come out.

Your comment around if either of your two good mates did what Ellison has done to you, you wouldn't work with them again. You really resonated with me. Yes, i believe that the entire shit show has been blown out of proportion by the general media, but you still summed up the crux of the situation. I am also interested in your speculatory view on the Onslow numbers, definitely a rabbit hole that i would be concerned about if i was a shareholder. Cracking episode gents, keep up the great work. My concern with Minres is the truck automation, I believe these are still currently manned by Hoomans atm, when they get to that 35mtpa how many trucks will be required, what is the actual timeline to full automation, that is they can start to lower opex, if they have to staff these trucks all the way to 35mtpa wonder what the costs will be

He has been caught and now is going to be judged, I feel sorry for the investors. I think that bad behaviour has been called out and it is time to retire. Too many times, corrupt behaviour goes unchecked due to powerful people in command and control. Interesting enough - what if it was not brought to light? Would these behaviours have continued?

Trav, I understand your point about having a partner screwing you over but that is when you are an equal or near equal partner. When lots of shareholders have a very small part of the organisation, I assume the maths is quite different. Chris is seen and a benevolent dictator, maybe with some flaws. Over a long period of time this guy made them money and they are willing to overlook the historical errors. As for not saying sorry, I assume that they were all PR/Crisis trained so there was no mistakes. If you just ask what is the best interest of the company and the shareholders at any point of time you may have come to the same conclusions. We found x but the impact of making this disclosure or public will have a negative effect. Yes by definition it may be market sensitive but if you determine the sums involved was not material then it may be easy to rationalise. Why create a storm that will wipe a heap of cash off the share price if the impact is less that the issue in the first place. Just add it the Chris did something silly GL code and move on as everyone is makeing money. I agree with the egos buying stuff they should not have purchased but I'm sure may commentators were not very critical at the time. If only we could all make money by retrospective view. Can any one else see Gina taking Minres private for her dear friend??

I understand why some people are upset. But reality is , and for some with gritted teeth , that you still want Michael Jordan on the team leading. Chris and his core long serving team have a class leading history of high performance , winning and possess the ruthless killer instinct required to do so, for which they have been applauded and lorded for till now. Often human factors have it, this killer instinct has it, that they operate on and sometimes over the line of what some would call savoury or within the rules. They’ve sadly hit a perfect storm in the market for which we all are passengers and thru some rapid growth related corporate pitfalls for people to take easy aim, but we’ve seen 2015 before and as a share holder I’m buying more, as I don’t see why this share price, when the market restores and the business doubles , that this share could easily hit $100 up to $150 per share in a couple of years. What will they say then ? Let’s just let Jordan and the team get back to core business.

You can say what you like about Ellison, but I have to wonder why super fund board of Trustees, who look after considerably larger sums of money, are arguably subject to much less scrutiny, transparency and accountability than ASX listed companies. I know this isn't what MoM is about, but I feel it necessary to mention this. Something to think about here in 🇦🇺. I think that this observation is an absolute joke.
@Dravid-2003Ай бұрын
Surprised at how the implications of CE's behaviour were not more fully considered. The approach to Kali Metals appears orchestrated, involving concert parties.There have been several other takeover's where CE has been at the table with other significant players and some sort of unseen understanding has been reached, without the disclosure of an overt deal. Now think about how events unfolded or a resolution was reached in WC8, Azure, NWE, GL1, etc. A bit too neat perhaps. Consider for a moment the 'lack of transparency that Trav carefully pointed out in the numbers. If Min res are so willing to manipulate, hide, obfuscate and mislead with numbers, at this time of scrutiny, what else do they know about but have not divulged. As to the CE supporters. He has achieved much, but if he was still a cowboy, either this opportunity [MIN RES] would have been exploited by another person or the margins of the other players would be fatter. CE has not discovered anything , he merely saw a gap in the market, so is difficult to understand the fan boi aspect to support of CE. Whatever else , it should be much clearer why Justin Longer was thought to be a suitable director.

Well done Matty, loved your passion and explanation. Ellison is a legend and an extraordinary Role Model. Plain hard work and the implementation of dreams. This is pure business drive and Purpose. The complete bullshit beat up of old news from the media is disgraceful. Great job Jonas and researched approach. I suggest you look at the long term debt level and regression line before we can look at the future debt funding package. Finally if Onslow can be profitable for the last month, basically from development then we have no problems. Having customers like Bawai and POSCO is a real bonus. Trav suggest you like to take a holiday and grow up.
