If I had to guess, the steal rating takes into account the player's steal IQ, so McLain's being like 39 is why he went when you wanted him to go on the pitch. Elly's steal is 80 to put that into perspective.

Love reds franchise as well but it’s hard to get out consistent episodes when your playing 3+ full games an episode like he’s doing in the playoffs. That’s about 4-5 hours of game play, then he has to get it edited, alongside his regular life. The regular season episodes are a lot easier to get done

The steal issue you had is most likely caused from you holding the left trigger for too long. If you hold the trigger until you feel it vibrate then you enter in what I call a “launch control”. In this case you control the jump of the base runner by releasing the trigger. When released they take off. I’m sure you typically just tap the trigger telling the runner to steal but the players attributes determine their jump in that case rather than your timing of the release. Hope that makes sense. Go Reds!

The pitch count on the player lock game was weird. It would show a 2-2 count with 7 pitches but your at bat ended with 6 pitches lol. Like those 4 pitches didn’t count.
