You really need a shield with the Caber, probably the Splendid Screen. That way, you get a guaranteed crit on charge, allowing you to kill any single enemy in the game, with the one exception of overhealed heavies. I have had a disproportionate amount of success and respect from the enemy team with Caberknight. I've even had multiple enemy Demos copy me while I was going Caberknight.

Protip for caber: If you want to deal a flat 125, aim at the feet when attacking to (hopefully) do that amount of damage. I'm not sure why the caber is the way it is, but the lower the explosion is on the enemy's hitboxes the more damage you deal.

God i love the Loose Cannon; this weapon not only allows for stupid amounts of damage and uber denial, but it gives you some awesome mobility options, matching even rocket jumping and if you use the tide turner in conjunction with it, it can be even better. Really good weapon!

Now I personally use the Charg N Targe for the sweet sweet fire and explosive damage resistance.... And I self destruct by cooking a bomb in the loose cannon to make my grenade jumps, and use the shield charge to escape danger when necessary.

The loose Cannon is my primary every time I use demo because it's changes up the way you actually play demo you can't just Spam you actually have time your stuff and you really have to showcase some skill to get double donk after double donk because you are effectively gimping yourself with that severe reduced lack of range, I often pair it with the quickie bomb launcher so I can still have a ranged option because I found the hard way the loose Cannon is not great for taking out sentries
