They’re a way better team honestly with insane tactics and a deeper bench…reaching semi-final after PSG, Chelsea and winning LaLiga is better than expected. I can’t believe Benzema scored a hat trick again and against Chelsea. Benzema is going beast mode rn. I lowk thought Chelsea were gonna beat Madrid. Putting Valverde in the lineup was key. He helped out both offensively and defensively. Brought so much energy in midfield. Modric Vini and Courtois had great games too. Lets hope we dont get complacent in the 2nd leg Btw It may be a stretch but Madrid can potentially win the CL. If Madrid wins the CL then Benzema has to win the Balon Dor.

it’s not everytime something goes wrong. I’ve stayed consistent with my criticism of him ALL season long if you’ve been keeping up. He SUBS too late every time. And many times it costs us to concede before he wakes up. Obviously he has some merit but he can be a lot better

It is a team that is rebuilding and I find that he is not getting enough credit for what he is doing. The system has changed. The Ballon D'Or ceremony will be held on June so what he s doing right now is at least for me far enough to get that golden ball. He deserves it not just for this season but for the past season and also his whole career. Today he got all the criteria so for me it's 99% sure. A devoted man never complain always work hard in silence for the team despite all the criticism and booed he got in the past. A lot of sacrifices for the team and also almost sacrifice is career for Madrid (& Ronaldo) success. Was the only main starter at the training camp with the reserve during national duty. He adapted like no one could at his position. He has always been one of the most talented but never had really the opportunity to do so. I m so proud of the guy I ve followed since his Lyon debut. He s the personification of professionalism, humility and devotion. There are not enough words to describe the man he has became. It pays off finally.

I bet even Florentino Perez can’t believe what is happening. This team was supposed to be in reconstruction.
