It speaks to the desperate state of our country that millions of Americans honestly and lovingly reached out to their friend Elmo to say they are not good. The love Elmo gave back can make us all feel a little better....Elmo Truly Loves You!

@@jay1373 If you were taught that at Civics class, you were deceived. What's the point of having a state? You paying taxes and getting nothing in exchange? Does not exist in the USA a modicum of public education, some minimum healthcare, a bit of housing - and some law and order protection? Isn't all of that the state helping you, a bit? In civilized countries, there's more help to people, and people live safer, happier lives. I highly recommend you to look for videos of American expats and travelers telling their experiences of having a disease or accident in other country, going to a hospital, getting good care, and not being bankrupt in the process. Or getting an education. That's what happens when the state's budget is oriented to the people and not to the military, and when its goal is to help the people and not the corporations (cutting taxes to them - which impoverishes the state and makes it unable to help people). Ever wondered why there's one political party that always talks about enhancing the military, cutting taxes to the companies - and eliminating school lunches, food coupons, and Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, as their ultimate goal? And tells you that's unfair to help some people, that fairness is not helping anyone? Jesus Christ teachings, anyone? One country under God, or under what? So, it is taught in Civics class. That's why you think that your Independence War was a revolution. It wasn't.

@MarkG-nl4oq6 ай бұрын
@@iwroteinbernie I really didn’t. The OP made the point that it’s unfortunate that Elmo is burdened with other peoples trauma as a result of his friendly post. My point is that Elmo is made out of felt and is not a human with thoughts or emotions so she’s unable to even read or process any of the responses much less empathize. It’s a guy making a puppets mouth move and likely a team of people getting paid to run a twitter/X account for said puppet as if it was alive and autonomous.
