Hi 45182, thanks for getting back to my question regarding the belt on the Elmo sc-18, like you I have done a total web search for them, I contacted a big company in Florida who had the repairman service manual , would you believe the manual was 206 pages with not one word about belts, the only way I feel is to find another projector and look how the belts are installed maybe take some photos ,that may sound drastic but what can we do, good luck I will let you any info I find john .

I have that projector..works great but the belt stretched and keeps slipping off.

Unfortunately I am in the same boat. I know where to get the belt, I just can't figure out how to put it in the projector or where to find the manual. I have looked everywhere.

KEITH SAW YUR QUESTION ABOUT BELTS FOR THE SC-18 THAT IS NO PROBLEM , i HAVE 2 OF THESE PROJECTORS, THERE ARE PLENTY ON EBAY AND ARE CHEAP, REMEMBER ELMO ARE THE BEST PROJECTORS GOOD LUCK

jim naismith, sorry but it doesnt work to do that, I have 2 of those Elmos, they are great with the small screens, however when you copy from it the picture flickers, you have to get a projector with multi speed, plenty on Ebay that have that for transfering films to DVD, hope that helps .
