megagatvol . I agree , it's a very well balanced mixture of songs & most importantly has a sense of togetherness & purpose after all the bickering ! The fact that they were plotting the biggest Tour in history, up to that point, must have focussed their minds a bit too haha! " hold on to your hats ! " They made the whole album in about 2 months ! I do wish they would hurry up & finish their 'new' one. But I'm greedy !

The Steel Wheels tour was the Stones telling the world they not only still had it but that they were THE GREATEST ROCK BAND IN THE WORLD! I saw the Atlantic City show in DEC '89. It was like dying and going to heaven. No joke!

I saw the Stones 89 Steel Wheels tour at the LA Coliseum. They were ON FIRE, best I'd ever seen them play live. Guns & Roses opened for them and I remember thinking the Stones would have to bring it after Axel and Slash's set.. They killed the young guns, no disrespect meant boys, but that night the Stones were the greatest rock & roll band I'd ever seen. Brought out John Lee Hooker and Eric Clapton for Red House! Truly a once in a lifetime concert.

They broke the mold when they made The Rolling Stones. One of Mr teacher's Mrs Platis mentioned she was going to their show at Shea Stadium on this tour and that she'd get me souvenirs. She got me a bandanna and a pin. Thanks Mrs P!

Love this song ,brings me right back to breaking up with a woman over 30 years ago who i still love💔
@joeyricci37963 жыл бұрын
Yeah, well it brings me to last year's break up, with the woman who still has my heart with her.... Break ups are extremely painful for men, as well as it is for a woman. Many men do the best they can to hide their true feelings down deep inside. Sometimes it actually ruins things.... I'm not too young, that I'm still learning to be more open, and understanding. Some things can be fixed, with open-minded discussions between both people. Some situations can't, because one of the two, are not open to trying to sit, talk, listen, and learn.... Sadly....
