eh. I actually think the Stones always laid off the booze before and during shows. Or at the very least were disciplined with it. Keith was off heroin on this tour. The interesting thing about this show is the tempo is under control. It doesn't sound like they have been taking lines of coke like so many other shows do. So everything points to them being very sober.

Terrific performance from shortly after the beginning of Ronnie's tenure when he and Keith had enough time under their belts to really lock together. In Mick Taylor's wake, Ronnie was and is a godsend to The Stones, the perfect musician who came along at the perfect time, although The Stones never expected to be left in a lurch by Taylor's untimely departure. With Ronnie, The Stones turned yet another corner and the rest is history. Any other possible replacement for Taylor would never have worked.

@Johnnywhamo3 жыл бұрын
Seriously, you're an idiot to suggest that. I'll make it easy and bring this to you because you doing 30 seconds of research is apparently impossible. Wiki..... Some Girls was a commercial success, peaking at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 1 on the US Billboard. It became the band's top-selling album in the US, having been certified by the RIAA for selling six million copies sold by 2000. Several hit singles emerged from the album which would become rock radio staples for decades, including "Beast of Burden" (US No. 8), "Shattered" (US No. 31), "Respectable" (UK No. 23), highlighted by "Miss You", which reached No. 1 in the US and No. 3 in the UK. Rebounding from the relative critical disappointment of Black and Blue, Some Girls was a major critical success, with many reviewers calling it a classic return to form for the band and their best album since Exile on Main St. (1972). It became the only Rolling Stones album to be nominated for a Grammy Award in the Album of the Year category.[2] Retrospectively, it has continued to receive acclaim, with many commending the band's ability to blend contemporary music trends with their older signature style. Considered one of the band's finest records, Rolling Stone has included Some Girls in their lists of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. So another words...completely the OPPOSITE of underrated.
