Hawaii is more expensive and I'm fine with people leaving CA. The reason it's expensive is because so many people WANT to live here that demand on real estate drove the prices up. Taxes have very little to do with it. What I pay in income tax here, I'd be paying in higher property taxes and insurance in Florida, a "cheap" state.

August 10th 2 of my employees are moving to Texas (Currently in California. I have 22 Employees). These 2 have been with me since I was merely an employee for another company, and we all got fired, but I had already secured purchasing the business assets, and keeping 5 employees as the old owner Moved his Company to Idaho. They asked me if they move to Texas can I support them so they can expand the company there? I told them yes, not expecting they would both follow through. My Insurance cost in California went up $8k per month this month. I can't afford these Liabilities in California.
