That's BS. They can't build a car for that, and now they are saying they can build essentially a car and a house combined for that? I have $10k worth of solar panels and house batteries alone on my motorhome. Plus, you would need more batteries for propulsion, motors, plumbing, tanks, fridge, stove A/C and heating systems, hot water, bathroom fixtures, etc. Why the batteries alone would be more than $20k. Maybe for $120k, but even that would be a miraculous price.

They can but wont build and sell it for 19k because it's just a box with no real curves . The gigapress would let them build this with very few parts and using robots drops about 1/3 of the build cost. The thing is why THE FUCK would they ? It wont be that cheap because there is no point to it and it would wreck sales on other vehicles just based on it's cost.

See, for an individual I could see this as a great idea. A home on wheels? Yes please. And not so pricey as to make it unattainable for us normies...yes yes and yes. I didn't get a tesla when they were cheap on the used market and sometimes I kick myself in the butt. If the r.v. can tow a car I am so ready.
