Levi, let me tell you, I desperately needed this unit after returning home after Hurricane Milton. I was without power for five days. Hot and humid. No way to keep phones charged. This would have made my life much more bearable being able to pop a bottle of water in the fridge and heat up a cup of coffee.
@busydadscooking0015 күн бұрын
thoughtful. this small, i say sleep downstairs, storage up. moving toilet to exterior makes sense. even pumping water seems superfluous, at this scale, one could move gallon jugs around. awesome job, truly.

This is exactly what I was thinking! With the housing crisis we are facing.. I know of many people who are living in tents and on the streets. Family's included. I'm trying to find a way to help ..however being disabled and on a very minimum income it is very hard to survive myself , nevermind helping anyone else. I often have to choose food or hydro. It's an unfortunate state this country is in right now...all I can do is pray and stay positive. Thank you for this amazing little home and some great ideas! God bless

Levi, I really think you’re onto something special that can go a long way towards helping a lot of people step out of homelessness. My wife and I work at a Safetynet Hospital which makes healthcare more affordable for poor people and we are constantly helping homeless patients. And I think this model of yours can definitely be one possible solution to a very serious and widespread problem that we as a society have not done nearly enough to address or correct. Keep up the good work. I would LOVE to talk with you further about your design, as well as how to bring it to more people in need. 😇

I love it!! Excellent job. I love the shower placement (no humidity inside to deal with). You've combined the best of what you've seen in your travels. I'm planning on a tiny space on land outside of town for weekend or just plain fun. Love the toilet idea too. You've given me confidence and inspiration to do it!! I think I'll use a pull out somehow on the main floor instead of the overhead bed. Also great for a guest house for the weekend. Bravo!!

What if you make the drop-down bed bi-fold, with a roll-out mattress? Install some pop-out dowling sticks or hinged metal prongs on the wall beside of the door, so you can use them as footholds to stand on as you drop the sleeping platform and then flip down the extension - it will still fit nicely into the wooden brackets on either side. Roll out your mattress and Bob's your uncle. Heck, Bob could even sleep over if the bench was bi-fold, too - then this truly tiny home sleeps two!
@MascisMan112 күн бұрын
4:18 If you made the bench top doublesided with a piano hinge it could fold out on to a cleat attached to the opposite wall for another bed.

Hey Levi,.I hope that you're having a great day! You have done an amazing job on building your worlds smallest tiny home!I would have to say buying the trailer and all the materials I would have to say you're looking at 6000.00 dollars to 7200.00 dollars. I like how you made it where every bit of space is functionable and there is no wasted space. Thank you for sharing and showing us your 19.46 square foot tiny house! I hope that you and your family make great memories with the worlds smallest tiny home! Your fan Leonard from North Carolina.
@judidunn15339 сағат бұрын
I love it. One thing I would change....I would have made the bench with a hinged board and legs that drop down, so that it can fold out to a double bed. Then use the upper area for storage space with half the width (so you can get to it easier and get around better... and with a ladder that can be attached, for storage. It would also be cool to make a tent extension that can be attached by velcro or something like that. That way you could shower and use the toilet in privacy and also have a place to eat and change your clothes, etc. I turn a lot in bed..I would fall off of that upper bed for sure.
@cd229011 күн бұрын
The bench could convert to a bed if you added a pullout slat system and used a back cushion that flipped down.

Consider doing the bed as a 3 piece with the bench. - 2 foldable half pieces hinged on bench that fold back onto it directly under the cushion, each with a screwable support leg, and the thin support rail along the right hand side. You could use the above space where the current bed is (remove that bed) & hang the bedding roll/matress when notnin use, more net storage, etc. This allows for sleeping for 2 or more as well as the ability to flip up the lower panel by the door to easily exit.
@philiq1810 күн бұрын
Clever. I was expecting that bench to fold or pull-out into a second bed option. The loft space could be improved with a steeper roof design and at least a skylight. Other than that, nice touch with the shower. Makes for a pretty compact camper.
