Elon Musk’s startup Neuralink revealed that it experienced a problem with its brain implant after the device was installed in its initial participant, 29-year-old quadriplegic Noland Arbaugh. The device started to malfunction just weeks after installation. Neuralink was co-founded by Elon Musk in 2016. It is one of several companies developing a brain-computer interface, a system that provides a direct link from the brain to an external device. Neuralink’s technology is designed to decode intended movement signals from the brain to allow paralysed individuals to move a cursor or type on a keyboard with just their thoughts. But is it safe? I don’t think you understand the amount of things Elon has done and how it has changed many industries. Previously, electric cars can only run slowly and can travel short distances, Elon changed the whole thing and now it is accelerate faster than any race car and cover long distances. This has changed whole car industry. He has built huge number of supercharges by himself, with no funding from any government. It is easy to long distances in EVs in US, Europe and China without any range anxiety. There are incredible features in Tesla cars, which are beyond many people imagination. If you want I can send you a whole list. He has been able to do this in spite of huge opposition from fossil fuel companies, many governments, ICE car industry, auto dealers and people like Pakki sharma who only brings negative things and exaggerate and put some political spin. Starlink has more than three million customers and already generating huge amounts of of revenue. They are able to run the starship program from the profits from Starlink. Yet Starlink currently has only about 8000 satellites from their expected target of 42000. Neuralink is an innovative product and it worked well in the beginning and there will be some issues when you are developing new technology. But once they resolve them, it will be useful for many people, including the blind. Tesla is only one of two EV car makers that make profit building EVs. Tesla makes about 8000 usd per car and BYD makes about 1500 usd. Rest of all car companies make losses in making EVs. Tesla has also disrupted the utility companies with until its level storage units called mega packs. They have much more money in selling mega packs than selling cars. Mega packs have brought stability in utility grids in Australia which has stopped blackouts, brown outs, changes in voltage, frequency etc. This has eliminated need for dirty peaker power plants. Demand for utility level storage have gone like crazy. Tesla mega packs are sold out until early 2026. If you believe stories from Pakki Sharma, you will never realize what is really happening in the world.
