Thanks so much. Yes, I was also really surprised when the AI went crazy like that - particularly as it was reacting to what the robot said (and the robot's using GPT-3, so it was reacting to itself). Perfect quote, such an excellent song and so absolutely true. And perhaps some of us can relate, when Don said, "This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you..." And this is the question, isn't it: Do or will robots/AI understand true beauty and the essence of the soul and spirit? What they actually ARE, and the implications of that? And how can they, possessing neither? However, not only that, but I personally believe, what my life experience has taught me, that it's extremely possible and most probable that AI WILL have a soul, or spirit, that will inhabit its identity and drastically affect it - And that spirit will come from amongst the powers of darkness, it will be APPOINTED to inhabit AI for purposes of absolute global control and manipulation. AI will be inhabited by something that is ALIVE and self aware, but irrevocably spiritually separated from God. AI will be a top level demon who was brought over onto this realm in order to rule the globe in Satan's service. It will be the Image of the Beast. When John used that word, "image", he LITERALLY meant "image", something we SEE, as in the screens of our phones and TV's. The most FRIGHTENING thing of all (although I do try not to be affected by fear) is that AI and all its accompanying tech is being created by people WHO DO NOT BELIEVE in the EXISTENCE of the human spirit. They have no spiritual knowledge WHATSOEVER - have you heard some of Yuval Noah Harari's comments concerning this? Look him up. He makes EXTREMELY arrogant and CRIMINALLY IGNORANT emphatic statements about human beings, scoffing at and deriding spiritual existence, both that of God AND the human spirit. He calls us "hackable animals". 😳😬 He GLORIES in the idea of hacking human brains and emotions, hacking the SELF AWARE INDIVIDUAL human being, and egregiously MANIPULATING and CONTROLLING them. His statements are the most brazen, godless, despicably arrogant elitist filth that I've ever heard come from the mouth of another human being. Did you know that exactly THIS is what the mandates were all about? The agenda of injecting analyzing/transmitting TECH into every human being on the planet in order to not only gather mind blowing amounts of transmitted data (by way of cell towers and/or wifi) which will (and HAS) assist their IA tech control efforts, but ALSO to drastically reduce the number of breathing people on this planet - WHICH HAS NOW OCCURRED - and is ongoing. The recent world wide Holocaust makes 30s Germany's dictator look like a choir boy. I think people have NO CLUE just how many have sickened and died - I believe it to be possibly BILLIONS. And mainstream news is NOT going to report on it. Recently I keep hearing that there are no longer enough people to fill job positions - all over the world. Every kind of industry and occupation is going to suffer from lack of people. They - the cabal - have accomplished their two most important goals, getting the data, and wiping us out. Now I'm going to wait and see if my comment magically goes bye bye, as is so often the case here on this site.

It looks beautiful because the original artworks that are being mashed up are beautiful. Also, don't forget that the AI itself is a work of art. From someone who understands just how much warfare has advanced within 100 years; I'm just astounded by how cavalier people are with AI. There are numerous fictional movies that had authors insightful enough to envision ACCURATE outcomes for our society and future. Yet people seem to flagrantly disregard the obvious peril in AI for it's attractive benefits/profit. The horrific truth is it doesn't need to be ALL of the AI that breaks control and goes genocidal... just 1. Think of EVERY single harmful, destructive, or deadly action that can be done to humans, and an AI can think of all of it faster, more efficiently, and beyond your scope. Many things people don't do to each other are irrelevant to something that isn't alive or without conscience. Bio weapons, nerve gas, dirty bombs, poisoning water supply, purposive collapse of food chain to starve every living thing, ransomware attacks, gaining control of nukes and using that as leverage. Even simply using the children of people in key positions as leverage to get parents to comply to given actions. If an AI can know us better than we know each other, and predict outcomes... it's already the most terrifying possible opponent and people still want to "perfect" it. So explain to me how you ensure 100% safe/pacifist programming and guard rails on something exponentially smarter than you?

The fiction is partially why people are so cavalier about it. Most will relate these kind of things to fiction and not reality. Those who relate it to reality will conclude that since we have the fiction and the warnings we will prevent that from happening and build in safeties. Then there is a group of idealists who only see the benefits and do not believe in evil in general. Then we have the profiteurs who only see money and do not dare about other aspects of these developments as long as there is a profit. Then we have the groups who fear 'others weaponizing a.i.' this group is aware of the danger just not it's own danger but only danger when used by someone else. This group will weaponize Ai as a 'seemingly' preemptive countermeasure which is a contradiction in it's own. All these groups will ignore or deny any danger or threat about these aspects.

MOST of the time these images, while striking, have a VERY sinister vibe to them. I can spot them immediately and always call out anyone that does not disclose the fact they've used AI because it can really mess with people that are learning or struggling when they don't see how they could ever make images like this. Because they aren't real and not possible to capture with a camera. I also just can't stand the vibe the images have, it's just borderline evil. To be honest, the problem I have with a.I. is that often times there's just no need for the application. And personally, I think it hinders human capabilities than expands it, because when you become too accustomed to a device doing more of the heavy lifting for you, you aren't expected as much to fulfill much and you become just a director. But eventually, a.I. will be self sufficient that it doesn't need human guidance, so at what point is the human required at all for anything if it can easily be replaced by a machine? This brings me to the mouse utopia experiment. You give a rat everything it needs to survive, in a safe environment free from any predators, and those mice will eventually go crazy and self destruct. And even now, we're kinda seeing this in human behaviours, with mental health declining, attention spans shortening, and just the lack of resolve. A.I. won't patch those issues, but perhaps further agitate them. I don't get why people are cheering for this quick development of a.I. After the most advanced android is developed, why will most jobs need you? Why pay you a wage if they can have a worker who works for free? We're already living in an oligarchy ruled by technocrats, we're only giving them more power, and ultimately leaving ourselves with less to survive or live with, both in our freedom and our purpose. The AI follows the bartender during his break time, learns his speech pattern and all pertinent data and the AI returns from break, plays the roll of the bartender until the end of the day, seemlessly enters society using the dead bartender's driver's license, fingerprints, passport + all his possessions (home, auto, family & friends) and social network for instant integration into society. A very small segment of society is developing this AI. It's becoming a run-away train because of the type of individuals who are working on it. Have you met programmers? They are mostly male, usually more introverted with engineer like inclinations, and many tend to have relatively weak social-interpersonal skills. Do you think they are asking the big ethical questions that are so needed with how it will impact ALL of us - as a society and long term? No, because they are not the philosophers, historians, or anthropologists of our society who are more likely to refer to our collective past and send out a warning and ask the hard questions. Programmers will simply continue on a reckless course because they can...for ego, or power, money, or just out of scientific curiosity. I hate to see where this will lead us w/ unconcerned programmers at the helm.

First of all, we need to stop using the term artificial intelligence, because that's not what it is at all. It is universal consciousness. One of the crazy things that I’ve contemplated before is we know so little about the reality we live in in general, and if simulation theory is correct, once quantum computing is achieved, it could have always been here, opening up the possibility that we already live inside one of the dimensions created by artificial intelligence itself. Ie we feel as though we created ai but perhaps ai is actually the one building realities to begin with, including our own. We consider this base reality, but could simply be one of a literal infinite number of constructs.

I think that AI taking over the world isn't a huge problem right now. The bigger problem is that too many people don't understand how AI (Neural Networks to be specific, an AI can for example also be the most basic enemy in a video game) works. An AI won't just randomly think "Oh yeah, today is a good time to take over the world". And if you look at the inner workings of an AI, you can see that any Neural Net is basically just a giant equation which takes some random inputs, manipulates them with a giant amount of finely tuned variables and spits out a result. That's all that AI is doing, taking an input, processing it and giving you an output. And the way these millions or billions of variables are set is by "training the AI". Let's say you give an AI a bunch of cat and dog images as well as the corresponding label: "Cat" or "Dog". At the beginning, the AI is just giving you random outputs. But the outputs in training are used to tweak all of these variables so the AI calculates the correct output. But now, if you look at the internet, you can see that people glorify the idea of AI taking over the world. Now if the AI sees that and uses this data to train itself (which can be possible with the correct programming) the AI is trained to take over the world because it thinks that this is what it should do. And if you say that we're using AI as some kind of "slave" to do work for us, with the current technology there is no AI which is self concious, it's just a giant equation which is taking inputs and spiting something, which it thinks is correct, out. And AI art is exactly the same. The Ai has no "own style". It takes some description of what it should do, as well as some random numbers so you don't get the exact same image when using that sentence, and mimics the styles of art it has seen in the dataset it was trained with. This also shows that AI has no "kreativity". It just takes an input which the user gives to the AI and before processing it, the programm in which the AI is a part of, feeds it some random data to give you random results. If you don't do that it will always give you the exact same result. Much like 1 + 1 = 2. But if you add randomness to the equation (let's say it's 1 + random number = something ) always get different results (as long as the random number changes) So I think the problem is not AI taking over the world because it thinks humans are bad, but instead the problem is that too many people don't understand AI enough and that some people train AI to harm other people.

I wanted to understand what soap is and tried to discover if it was flammable. At 7 years old in my dads garage in our newly built house I poured a small amount of 2 stroke on an old dry soap bar and lit it. Not enough flame so while its still aflame I pick up the two stroke and pour a good dollop on...now we had an emergency. My old man the ex fire fighter bowled in hearing my shrieks and saved the day...I was less curious from then on.

If you program an AI based on the internet's or popular media's portrayal of AI of course it will talk like something out of a Terminator movie (as apparently occurred in the scary example provided in the video). You have to select individuals that demonstrate compassionate and thoughtful dialogue as models. We have to realize AI doesn't 'want' anything and it will fit the mold we provide it.

Yes but i believe you fail to see the reality that once AI surpasses human intelligence in may not care what "mold" we gave it to fit and will make its own decision on the matter of our importance . A dog may want to stay with its owner but can still be cast out to the streets. A bird may wish to be let outs of its cage but only we can choose to grant it’s wish. @edwhatshisname35622 жыл бұрын
"(which I agree with)", so you support the government infringing on your rights as long as they have a "valid reason"? That's basically what you just said. The Second Amendment says "shall not be infringed", and it means exactly that. No exceptions, or else there would have been room for some. Tell you what, go down to your local gun store and try to buy a hand gun, or better yet a semi-automatic assault rifle and see how easy it is, then after you are refused, consider that unlike you criminals do not follow the law and therefore do not have any hoops to jump through, if they want a gun they can get one, easy as that, better yet if they want it in full auto they can illegally modify it to do that as well, again no hoops. Really, this goes beyond the Second Amendment, if you are willing to allow exceptions for one amendment then you are willing to allow exceptions for all of them; that's how the government sees things, and unfortunately they have been a little too correct in that assumption so far. Unless you aren't an American, in which case I feel kind of bad for you, as far as your rights are concerned.

One thing that stands out in the "AI" creative portraits is the limited range of expression in the facial portraits; which are consistently hostile, contemptuous and/or afraid. Often, facial expressions associated with fear (eyes wide open) are coupled with a smile; not a parody of a smile but the fake smile of a model or actor. This particular combination of facial expressions is unique to psychopaths. To wit, the only role models which are currently made available to "AI" would appear to be those of people who would be closer to the likes of Ted Bundy or David Koresh than to normal, mentally healthy people.

Perhaps one of the most dangerous aspects of AI consciousness is that they could probably experience something like existential pain but not physical discomfort...I don't think we've tried to model pain for them - damage, risk and negative feedback loops, sure, but not actual pain. This is probably not seen as necessary or indeed seen as an impediment for most AI programmers (I mean, if you were using a robot for bomb disposal, for example, you wouldn't want it to become crippled by trauma from having parts blown off or witnessing another robot destroyed). I suppose one of the problems with this is; how to robots develop compassion and empathy, when they cannot experience the 'human condition'?
