I left the UK about five years ago and moved to South East Asia. I still return for a couple of months every year to spend some time with my four sons and catch up with friends and family. It saddens me to say that, in my opinion, the country seems to have deteriorated more each time I return. I am not against immigration per se but when it gets to the extent that it puts healthcare , housing and services under so much pressure to the point of collapse surely this can’t be sustainable. The majority of the population have shown that they want controlled immigration but no government seems to be able to provide this. The culture and social norms are being eroded as a result. A point that JP and Douglas Murray explain much better than I could. I live in a foreign country, I abide by their laws and embrace their culture and I am in a very small minority here. I had to follow a strict immigration procedure and have to prove that I am able to support myself as I am not entitled to any benefits provided to nationals. Most of the immigrants coming into the UK are economic migrants not refugees. I don’t blame them for seeking a better life but not at the expense of the indigenous population.

I used to work on retail displays, often in the centre of London. The work started around 10.00 pm and would end in the early hours of the morning. Not only did we have the London congestion charge, we also had the charge for effectively not having an electric vehicle because the van diesel engine emissions. BUT, the emission charge ended at midnight, so we would have to pay the charge twice for the one visit. So myself alone, I had to add over £30 to the invoice for 1 visit, I was one of hundreds of businesses that service the businesses in London that have to apply this charge. Who ends up paying .... the buying public.

Grooming scandals is putting it mildly, it's horrific and been going on longer than a decade. The true details are horrific, and the establishment turned their backs on this matter in the name of protecting social cohesion and the wonders of diversity. Also these children were from lower socio economic backgrounds so easy to ignore from certain perspectives. It is still continuing and it makes any normal person sick to their stomach. @lynnelee4390 , I'm sure many did like it, and I am sure whoever put it together was probably super proud of it. I'm usually NOT especially annoyed by things like that, but I HATED it. It was so jarring and chaotic and SOOOOOO opposite of his gentle intro music. I literally turned my phone or FFed through it, which was a pain because I never wanted to miss a second of the cold open. I love the show, and that was the first thing I had to complain about.

They can go on for years, and, in the end, its report is read in the Parlament and recommends where charges are to be laid. They can cost billions, and in this case, the money needs to be spent

It is always refreshing to hear these rare accounts of famous LA people helping out during these disasters. I forget the year, but in an earlier LA wildfire, a homeowner in a private, gated community stayed up for 2 days armed with nothing but the hoses connected in people's yards, and everyday lawn tools such as axes and chainsaws to stop the advance of the flames. While everyone else in the community fled, he stayed behind and singlehandedly saved 80+% of his neighborhood from suffering any fire damage. He wore a bandana on his head; an improvised cloth mask from an old shirt; and sunglasses to lessen the smoke getting into his eyes. That resident who did more to rescue his community than the LAFD could've- given their restraints of resources -was none other than Axl Rose of Guns N Roses. (It's been rumored that the city of Los Angeles considered honoring him at a later ceremony, but decided against it after realizing he'd probably show up 4 hours late 😉😁)

The comment you made at 19:30 is EXACTLY what I am seeing from Brits on X. They are more offended by my tweets about what is happening over there and my perception of them than their daughters being subjected to the criminal mistreatment being discussed. They don't care about their daughters, but rather what other people think of them and when I tell them that, they remain stuck on my perception of them instead of the crimes being committed right in front of them. It's disgusting. I'm the problem and not the people committing the crimes...

I try to watch Rubin report as much as I can.. But I realized in this clip that this clip was a perfect example of the variety of "News" that was in this one. I also like the Newsmax, and other trusted news.. But those reports are sometimes too long.. and repeatative.. So appreciate this particular clip because of the variety of subjects.. great editing of the clips added, so I was able to get the jist of news world wide.
