Two mistakes Sir. 1. Ka band is not called kaa band, but kay-A band (dono alag alg alphabet letters K and A) 2. GTO is Geo-transfer orbit (as opposed to Geo-stationary) which is a elliptical orbit with perigee at about 200 to 300 Km and apogee at 35000 Km. Then the satellite has to fire its own rocket to reach to a circular orbit with geo altitude all around. Another thing I would like to mention is that 4700 Kg could have been made 4000 Kg if it had an electric propulsion system which is highly fuel efficient(8 times more), they could have bought two/four such thrusters. Only thing would be that it would take about 6 months to reach to the Geo-stationary orbit.

I still rememeber cassini from NASA, with first ever Nuclear Propulsion system I guess, it used decays to move at greater speeds, with geo-elliptical orbits, we could risk to expt with Nuclear fuel for closer orbits, and maybe just hope to recover it if mishaps happen

That's the stat of pvt sector. Most of the jobs are gained through CONTACTS. Govt jobs require multiple rounds of examinations among lakhs of students unlike pvt jobs. The only problem with govt jobs are not the candidate themselves but the unwillingness of the govt structure itself to apply improved methods and technologies in its operations. The day the govt structures start using the new techs and methods will be the day when the skillset of govt employees will exceed the pvt employees by a far margin 'cuz the competition is very very high.
