I think he was more trying to convey how the question is not necessary. The second the AI doesn't do what the operator tells it to, it is killswitch time. My mom is a programmer and works for WSU, on her side time she creates video games. If she writes a command and the end result is something other than what it should be, she would correct the problem far before the need for a "KS" and definitely far before anything needs to get "blown up." It is an unintentionally(?) ignorant question. I usually don't think that of TC. Interesting interview.

@@mrs.hatfield1451 No, there weren't any ignorant questions. They were posed to lead Musk to respond. What Musk did answer was telling. That his space program REALLY exists to gather intel & hot spot locations of servers. Carlson got fired for THIS. But it will prove to be the most important thing he ever did. There will be a shutdown of the internet. And the fact that people overwhelmingly disagree is exactly WHY it must be done. It's not healthy for humanity. It's not anthropologically, or culturally, sound to continue with something that isn't good long-term. Like all technological fads, the internet will end & be replaced. All kids had to have a fidget spinner. AI and the interweb are not fire, the wheel or aire conditioning, refrigeration, etc. People are genuinely, instinctually, and viscerally put off by Elon Musk for a reason. He has terrifying balls. These kind of people, historically, create the same fear in society. But they are good...and righteous. Your feelings on the subject determine & prove your position. I'm excited for it. I hope he follows through and ends the interweb era & maybe computers altogether. I'm stoked & curious to see where we go next! Fox News has settled a defamation lawsuit from the voting machine company, Dominion, over its reporting of the 2020 presidential election. In a last-minute settlement before trial, the network agreed to pay $787.5m (£634m) - about half of the $1.6bn initially sought by Dominion. God can use anyone to do His will and in the process He can even save them. I feel for Elon to be doing so much for true freedom he must be being used by God to help America. But the devil is real and he doesn't stop warring against God's people either. So things can go either way. Prayer for Elon and others who step up is important. May God help them. But most importantly, churches and believers need to repent and believe in Jesus more and advance the gospel. Elon has a soft spot for God's existence and his mom seems like a humble and faithful woman just by how she speaks and what she says - but both in a non-traditional way. So I don't know. But prayer is key. Behind everything God is the Master who works all things for the good for those who love Him. Many have been praying for this country through all the storms, so it ISN'T so much about the individuals and their skills and knowledge so much as God has raised them for a TIME LIKE THIS. SO pray! Pray also for his spousal selection because he doesn't seem to be very discerning in selecting romantic interests. Many great men and kinds fell due to the women they loved, who led them astray. Solomon is one of them even though he was the wisest man. So pray for Elon to meet and chose to stay loyal to a virtuous woman who has good values and integrity.

But we are also likely opening pandora’s box of misuse. And then like Mr Musk said, what happens when the AI does not want to follow a code or dictate program but rather finds its own agenda to move into a direction or opinion? Maybe Humanity Earth Life depends on the thumbs up down decision of said AI, maybe AI will defend the human interest and our liberty? Like our "democracy". They say you are free, but its a machinima. You wake up, you pay taxes and all your necessities, and if you dont have money, you die. You cant just decide you will live in this society without credits and for free. You cant leave your country if the leaders decides to not let you. Thats what machinima is. The fact that humanity believes they don't possess superior intelligence is the basis for artificial intelligence. They needed a model to make a computer--they used the human brain. Humans are lazy. If you read, you will gain intelligence. What do you think artificial intelligence does? It doesn't drink or smoke, it just studies. Humanity has access to much more than this man's brain. You have access to your brain. Stop closing it.

According to Elon Musk", Since I’ve been asked a lot: I will always advise, we buy stock in several companies that make products & services that you believe in. Only sell if you think their products & services are trending worse. Don’t panic when the market does. This will serve you well in the long-term, I fancy the plan that made him millions and I now understand that more passion to trading and less ego gives a resounding attraction to financial stability and I have managed my time effectively, diversified my source of income under my CFA and it has been my best way to grow and sustain wealth

I have been on the look out for a good CFA who would give a diversified approach on my assets to yield more income because I am about to retire. Any tip would go a long way, it is so hard to find one that truly grasps the entirety of the different sectors you need in your portfolio, rather than most, which choose to specialize in 1 or 2 industries, and that's a big deal for me because I am very open minded, plus I know if I can't have it all there's no point, if you understand what I mean?

I don’t know who, but someone needs to hear this, despite the economy, stocks and crypto market all looking bearish, you’ve got to stop saving all your money. Venture into investing some of your money if you really want financial freedom

He really digests the questions and deeply ponders his answers. He doesn't appear to feel a need to have an immediate answer and he is answering honestly. At no point does he ever repeat the question back which in turn is a clear maneuver to gain more time when answering untruthful or giving misleading information.

Great point. Reminds me immediately of Karine and Kamala who can only rephrase questions as their answers.

I've always thought repeating the question is good. Gives time to think about the question in a deeper level. Especially if you are nervous and don't know exactly what to answer, or didn't get the question immidiately.
