@@serroche its prob a RX like app, it takes off the frequency so the more agressive render more other sounds can be trimed too otherwise you can only have a 100% isolated drum with the music original stems.

Seems like a cool app! Cutting out guitars or bass works great. But when I delete vocals or drums lots of mids seem to be cut out as well. So a section with no vocals (or drums) sounds pristine while the altered section sounds kinda muddy. It would be great if you made a possibility of equalization/filtering of sections which remain unchanged

He's an alien, leagues above not just the tech metal guys, but... many other top fusion guys that are 'hall of famers'. Eloy was just interviewed by a reporter from Warner music in Brazil and said that this video was the one that got his foot on the door. He said that Clown watched it and compared to other musicians covers and his was the one that was more precise about timing, and that he knew when to play faster or slower, just like the original. Eloy mentioned that after he had already learnt the song, he still practiced it for a month before taping this video, in order to get really comfortable playing it, and three or so years later, that got him to be interviewed for the job.

​@lawrence9012 one trigger that works only on the bass drum. In order to get that right you need extreme precision and power. The whole ideia of using trigger is to use less power/energy. Chris is amazing, I don't get why to compare them. Completely different backgrounds. Eloy hits ages harder than CT and with his Latin root he explores grooves with a huge diferent perspective. They are both on the top of the top, comparing gets nonsense.

@@lawrence9012 I`ve watched enough of CT`s videos to have a grasp on how hard he hits. (just look at his arm swing. I didn`t say what I said based on his bass playing alone). My point about triggers is that triggers main function is to replace a sound that might be low on volume or badly recorded/played. Therefore the fact that there is a trigger on Eloy's bass is irrelevant cause it's not being used by it's natural function. He most likely is using the MIC function only. I've been inside of a recording studio with Eloy playing a few metters from me. Srsly, even tho I was like, 8 metters away from the drum kit I could still few the air coming through the gap of the bass drum head. I've never seen anything like that. We it wasn't only power, was a precision that is almost inhuman. And just to be clear, Eloy said to me himself that there are some aspects of drumming that he knows little about. In that regard I think CT has way more on his repertoire than Eloy. But when it comes to groove, brutallitly, crazy patterns... Eloy is the best there is. Slipknot is a groove metal band and has Sepultura as one of their biggest influences (Eloy was on Sepultura for 13 years). Anyways, I'm a big fan on CT, as mentioned previously and when comparing them what "jumps" the most is the "who is worst", and imo that is worthless. They are both gods at this shit.

The only reason Slipkots set lists was so limited over the last few years is because it would a whole gang of mother-drummers to be able to play certain songs. Filling Joey's shoes is not easy, but i dont think we have worry about that anymore. I think my brother here has got this now.

I disagree, a professional drummer is suppose to have the ability to make every member of that band stand out, knowing when to play hard, when to play quiet and when to make other instruments shine just like Joey did in the band. I see absolutely no reason why he couldn't fit into slipknot but for me personally I'd rather see el estepario siberiano in it.
