It is mind boggling to me that this phenomenal band is not more popular in the USA. If they were from the UK they would be on the charts at the same level as Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Genesis, etc. So sad that being from Germany means no promotion worldwide for this fantastic music. Thank you Frank and the band for such great work and giving us such great music. I have been a fan since 1978 and every time I listen I love your music more.

I SAW ELOY FOR THE FIRST TIME TONIGHT...I WAS FORTUNATE TO BE TURNED ON TO ELOY IN 1975 WITH 'INSIDE' AND I WAS INSTANTLY A FANATIC. I have owned 3 copies of Inside since , only 100 original pressings OF INSIDE WERE KNOWN TO HAVE BEEN SENT TO THE U.S. THIS IS SO MUCH APPRECIATED.

I just discovered this band. I just kept listening to each album starting with “Inside” and then went to the next album. Each album struck a chord with me instantly so I purchased them through Apple Music just to add them to my library. Then I purchased the rest from Amazon that were not available from Apple. Simply great music especially with headphones and a good buzz!! 👍🤫😉

Been listening to pre-1980 Eloy since the 70's. Frank got too sing songy for me past 1980. Great German prog band "in the day". Long live Eloy.

I had the good fortune of going to university in Montreal in the mid-70s. I got exposed to Eloy in frequent rotation on underground FM while I was there. I played prog keyboards for most of the 70s and into the 80s. After I heard Eloy, everything about the way I approached my role in the bands I was in changed. I basically said "Fuck the Wakeman and Emerson solos". From then on I lived by the credo ... there can never be too few notes played in a synth run and keyboards should form the basis of continuity in the rhythm section. The best picture of me that was ever taken while on stage had me bathed in red light, arms outstretched over the Univox Stringman that was perched atop a Mellotron M400, in a pose that is quite reminiscent of a somber Detlev Schmidtchen. To this day I still cherish Eloy and all of the great prog music they brough to the world.

Ja, da hast Du recht. Den Song hatte ich vergessen aufzuzählen, den hatten wir auf der Fahrt zum Konzert sogar noch im Auto gehört. "Time to turn", "Ro Setau" oder ähnliches hätte man dafür wirklich weglassen können. Übrigens ist die Aufnahme wirklich Top Qualität. Danke fürs posten.

Ich war auch in Mainz auf dem Konzert gewesen. War super, allerdings haben mir die Songs "Sphinx", ""Pilot To Paradise", Master Of Sensation" und "Le Reveil Du Soleil" doch sehr gefehlt. Zugunsten dieser Meilensteine hätte man ein paar Songs neueren Urspungs weglassen können.
