Earlier in that live she was walking home and filming every guy that walked past while saying "I hope I don't get attacked and making jokes about getting assaulted. Now, its a very real fear for people when out and about while drunk...but she was straight up making a joke of the idea. It was absolutely disrespectful to people who have been through that. She was making it out to be a big joke and its horrible to watch. Worst still, her tone, in my opinion, was layered with something that made me feel like she wanted something to happen to her, so she could be dramatic and get views. It was very disgusting tbh.

I use these card machines for my job. I never carry them around with me. They stay in my work place with everything else they come with. They are only used when needed, and always in the place of work which has working CCTV for both clients and workers benefit. It's mad to me that she would just walk round with one like this and the lies she would have told on the application.

You can definitely own a card reader without being a registered business, looks like she has a sumup one which is very easily available. I use one when i go to cons but the difference is, when you table at a con you have permission.

Yeah it's a bit odd. However owing to the fact it's all electronic means there's a record of how much income she should be declaring to HMRC. Taxi drivers complain about card payments and say it's because they get charged 5% or whatever. That's not the real reason. It's because they can't underdeclare their financial earnings, by not reporting cash payments, and savi g a hefty amount of tax.

In the US, anyone can get a card reader....some for free, just buy downloading and pay for a cheap app. I think Square is one such app and company. However, like you said, I'm not entirely sure how legal it is to go into one place of business and charge people for things without permission. Then again, I suppose that's not much different than people using cashapp or venmo in those places. Shocking it's allowed here because we are a very civilly litigious country.

Has anyone actually come forward and said they paid for the photos? As in proof that is what she is charging people for? I'm trying to walk carefully around this question but seeing how she... seems to be, I can't imagine, even in a crowded club and drunk people figuring it would be funny, even more than one or two. But I have known a few people who used them as a safety hatch for more. Um. "Adult" issues. It's easier to dodge the whole legality of what a person can be doing if instead of cash you go outside behind the building for a few minutes and coming back with a need for mouthwash than cash is. And you can tell people you are getting paid for X instead of Y and since you aren't running a store but instead a personality based thing, so unless they get caught in mid... purchase... it was a simple wash and rinse with the extra spiff of making things financially legal as you keep track but still have an utterly paperless source of info you can pay taxed on. At least two girls I knew in college went this workaround when stripping didn't get them there. Seemed a scary as hell thing to base your freedom and income on, but it is doable. Not that A: I can figure out who would WANT to do anything.. more with her. Especially after the nit safa but also B: does anyone actually think this girl is bright enough to pay taxes. I'm sure she would view herself as the next brilliant sneak who thinks she has figured out how to work the system, but somehow, being bright enough to pull it off seems unlikely.

Idk I’ve worked for a bank (in the US) and sold these card readers, and in the US you can have a one person business and don’t need several employees. I’m sure it’s not in good faith, but I really wonder how different these rules are in the UK.
