Earlier in that live she was walking home and filming every guy that walked past while saying "I hope I don't get attacked and making jokes about getting assaulted. Now, its a very real fear for people when out and about while drunk...but she was straight up making a joke of the idea. It was absolutely disrespectful to people who have been through that. She was making it out to be a big joke and its horrible to watch. Worst still, her tone, in my opinion, was layered with something that made me feel like she wanted something to happen to her, so she could be dramatic and get views. It was very disgusting tbh.

One of my brothers started uni last year and enjoys partying and I worry so much for him but also anyone out clubbing these days. People just get stuck with needles wherever's exposed, not even covering drinks keep people safe. It's def not something to be laughing about.

As a law graduate it unfortunately isn't illegal what she's doing but only because the law would likely see it as "tipping" and not items for sale. While photographs are tangible property, the way in which she's supposedly doing it doesn't count as operating a company. That being said, it's really not good of her to be doing it and it winds me up lmao

Wow interesting! None of that would be illegal in the US. I’ve had a card reader for years. I bought my first one at the nearest store for $10. Maybe our self-reporting tax system is why. I hear all other countries have more streamlined tax systems, but we have to keep up with everything and tell the government what we earned in the US. Oh and of course cash tips in the US are considered part of the paycheck. That really sucks. Food servers get paid $2/hr and that’s why people have to tip, even though tipping is technically optional.

This person is not a business and has no right carrying a card reader especially when it operates by contactless transactions. All they have to do is tap it on an unsuspecting persons pocket and hope there’s a card in it. It’s opening up so many club goer’s and pedestrians up for theft.

The fact that even one person wants to watch your video, or two or three is a lot, but thousands enjoy your videos every day even if its not tens of thousands. I use these card machines for my job. I never carry them around with me. They stay in my work place with everything else they come with. They are only used when needed, and always in the place of work which has working CCTV for both clients and workers benefit. In the US, anyone can get a card reader....some for free, just buy downloading and pay for a cheap app. I think Square is one such app and company. However, like you said, I'm not entirely sure how legal it is to go into one place of business and charge people for things without permission. Then again, I suppose that's not much different than people using cashapp or venmo in those places. Shocking it's allowed here because we are a very civilly litigious country.

Yeah it's a bit odd. However owing to the fact it's all electronic means there's a record of how much income she should be declaring to HMRC. Taxi drivers complain about card payments and say it's because they get charged 5% or whatever. That's not the real reason. It's because they can't underdeclare their financial earnings, by not reporting cash payments, and savi g a hefty amount of tax.
