Exactly. I have family members with cancer, and I had an ex who lost his Aunt to cancer while we were together. She got so bad so fast and was in so much pain she couldn't eat. She was such a sweet person, I honestly still cry thinking about watching her slowly die... Her son is also one of the most kind people and had to lose his mother far too early. A girl from my childhood lost her mother to it about a year ago. Her mother was also SO kind. This disease is so evil, and lying about having it is even more evil...

Agree, Elphaba has no idea how other people feel through their journey especially with cancer. It's a heartbreaking diagnosis and it steals your very existence and identity with fear and worry for the future and the regrets in the past. Elphaba hurt me when they reminded me of my dark points in my life with SH, and a huge kick in the face when they Blazey about Leukemia in school and completely disregarding it as "that cancer thing" like there was nothing wrong with the lie. Cancer destroys lives, but thankfully we have modern medicine that can help us live with the lifechanging diagnosis. Chemotherapy alone destroys your body, I yearn for my last Paclitaxel this Friday and I'm done until the next time I'm so sorry for your loss, I like to think when my time comes, I can stay here to guide my daughter in the spirit realm. That helped me settle my death anxiety in January

My niece had cancer when she was younger and she told one of her friends because it came up somehow. She was bullied through the rest of high school because people thought she lied when she did in fact use to have cancer. Its really sad how when people are honest they're treated as liars because of people like this

I had fight for short term disability through my job because I ended up with phnemonia, toxic poisoning and a pulmonary embolism and was in the ICU because of people abused it and lied. I had a young man getting chemo at the same time I did and he went through bullying in school because of his hair falling out. I tried to comfort and listen to him but my heart broke. I hope your niece is doing well now and living a good healthy life.

It's an awful and torturous thing and I can't imagine a full grown adult lying about having it. As someone who has lost multiple people in my life due to cancer, it makes me physically disgusted that anyone could lie about it. Furthermore, I’m an SA survivor and it happened to me at a young age from 3 different people. 1 being my own father. And it’s taken me until now (in my 20’s) to talk about it. My mom actually had cancer, cervical cancer. She was bleeding so bad, like sometimes rushing out of her and it was very concerning and scary. She got diagnosed with cervical cancer in the summer of 2019. She went through hell and back. A cyst was on her ovary and pushed on her kidney or something like that. She missed ONE appointment to get her stints replaced in late 2022 and she wound up having kidney failure. The fact that it’s so hard to live in this country to the point she’d miss this very important appointment out of fear of losing money and her job, should tell you something about how shit the US is. But, she has been on dialysis ever since. She’s been through so much. Her medication makes her gain weight out of her control. She HATES it so much. She’s so insecure and so upset. I feel so bad for her. I hope she can get a kidney transplant so she can live a more normal and easier life than she’s living right now. I know it will never be the same as it was before kidney failure and cervical cancer, but it would be much better than now. She’s always so stressed and shit. It’s awful. I wish I could do something about it. The faking autism thing embarrasses me as someone who is self diagnosed (my manager of my old job apparently graduated from college for psychology and said I have it?) I did research and everything fits. I hope to go to therapy one day to see if I really do have it. I’m pretty sure I do. I NEVER go online and just show off my autistic traits. I only express my special interests and tell people they’re my special interests lol it also pisses me off how people will fake things like being autistic because it makes the rest of us who are ACTUALLY autistic look bad. As someone who was diagnosed with cancer in 2021 and spent most of 2021/2022 under treatment including chemo and a stem cell/bone marrow transplant, and still suffer the after effects even after being given the all clear at the end of 2022, this shit pisses me off. Same as that girl who claimed she had cancer and went on to create an app or write a book (I forget which) about how she was cured. I have not worked or worked properly since 2021, and when I first got out of hospital in 2021 after diagnosis (I wont go into details, but initially I was in the hospital for three months due to how severe my symptoms were and they could not work out what was wrong with me), I created a just giving page and struggled to even get the £1000 I was trying to raise to pay my bills. But thats the difference between someone who is just a normal person relying on friends, and a lying "social media influencer" who is known for being a fucking horrible person.

I used to have a "friend" (not really a friend but we hung out a lot) who always lied about being pregnant. In 10 months, she was pregnant with triplets 3 times - ALWAYS "I miscarried... but I'm pregnant again!", to the point where when I got pregnant, no one believed me because being pregnant was apparently always a lie, and when she DID get pregnant a few weeks later, no one believed her. I think she did it because she liked to cause trouble for everyone, threatening to "k!LL" them and turning others against them, and while "pregnant", no one could touch her
