I feel like after the leaks, everyone knew this was coming. #elphelt-hype-channel had confidence even BEFORE the leaks. She looks like a very fun character but... God, her design. It looks like the worst one in Strive so far, which is really sad because this doesn't even look THAT bad. And her Japanese voice? They somehow made it worse than May's. Hey, at least we got probably a top 5 Strive theme from her being released. And any BB players who mained Mai might find a few similarities between the two in terms of gameplay, so that's neat. I just kinda wish she played a BIT more like how she did in XRD, even if it was watered down a bit.

Yeah, Strive's designs are usually the coolest any of the characters have looked so far. Elphelt honestly feels like the first to receive an actual downgrade visually. Her theme fucking slaps tho. Her's and Baiken's are the only tracks I've thoughroly enjoyed from the DLC so far.

I did prefer her Xrd Rev 2 design yeah. I don't have to worry about her Japanese voice because I play with the English voices. But uh yeah the design was a bit of a downgrade, not bad, just a downgrade, imo.

Nah design's good and fits the evolution. Terminally online beardnecks just salty because it strays away from the original, as always. Happens in every single game where design progresses.
