Vinyl✊🏽! I'm ordering her album just for this song 🎵 *I Can't Stand The Rain* Lady Day aka Billie Holiday makes me cry in general but Ann version of this song, has my soul shook! I went outside today to take some pictures of the front yard after being inside for quite some time. I had forgotten it had rained 🌧, living in the desert 🏜 and my husband recently passed away. I noticed that there patches of "grass" on the yard where it's usually dirt/sand. My initial thoughts were literally, "I can't STAND the rain!" 🙄 Heading back into the house the intro if this song wouldn't leave my head. I didn't know who wrote it, sung it etc. Then I looked it up and listened to the lyrics and my soul was shook! Just cried...the angry cry when you're mad and don't know why you're mad. Then I added the album to 🛒. Anyway, *something positive* ✨ I'm happy she's (Ann) is alive and still married to the same person/didn't let the business ruin her/them♡.
