I was watching the first episode of "Elsbeth" with a friend, which Michael Emerson’s character made his 1st appearance. My friend mentioned that he thought the judge was trying to railroad the defendant. When I asked if he knew who the actor was, he said no. I told him to brace himself for a larger diabolical plot because this is not the kind of actor you bring on for just a one-time guest appearance. Michael Emerson is the type of actor that keeps the audience on edge whenever he's on screen.

As I recall, Carrie was the great love of his character in Person of Interest. I remember thinking, oh awesome, I liked her a lot in True Blood. Michael's character in Evil has also been great fun. Have fun with Elsbeth.

These two are two of my favorites in tv shows and I can't believe I only just found out they are married and for 26 years, wow, great. I was so happy months ago when I found out that Carrie's show Elsbeth was renewed on Twitter ( I still call it that, well actually I usually call it Twit now, but trying to be nice ) I said how happy I was about that, how I had just watched the whole series on Paramount plus and that it was one of my favorites, and then Carrie Preston liked and retweeted my tweet, which made me even happier.
