Stage 2 and 3 in a reconstruction of the Elstree Studios around 1980.
Today the John Maxwell Building stands there.

I've heard different people who claim that the sets from Raiders, like Well Of Souls was built inside of one of those stages, then others claim it was built in Stage 8, including the current CEO of the studio.

Hello Christopher, As I wrote in another reply, the set of the Well of Souls on Stage 3 was built after it was rebuilt after the fire during the production of the Shining. As can be seen on the page, a flat roof has been made, which also made Stage 3 higher and gave space to the 'the three jackal statues'. It is possible that other parts of the Well of Souls set were built on Stage 8. For example 'the map room'. www.shiningsets.nl/?page_id=2692#colorado_fit

@@deltabuilder It's important to mention here that Stage 3 was where the Colorado Lounge set was created for The Shining ... which is where the fire started. So few people who go to Tescos in Borehamwood today and walk across the car park realise that they are walking across the site of both Kubrick's Colorado Lounge and, later, Spielberg's Well of Souls.
