@@michaelcoluzzi59 Same here. The Complete Thom Sessions CD has the different version with the Spinners. I love the Spinners but I prefer the "Elton only" versin of this song from the vinyl Ep I bought in 1979. Wish I could find this version on CD or digital!

This is THE version. THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IS SUPPRESSING THIS VERSION WITH A 2003 DETROIT SPINNERS EDIT. DON'T BELIEVE THEIR LIES. Also, lovely, lovely breakdown, his best.

Exactly!!!! Somewhere somebody must be antagonistic to Thom Bell? That orchestration is so beautiful to me that it is almost painful!! With Elton’s voice of enchantment on top of that Philly Sound how did the music industry decide to suppress this? Must’ve been some plot to stop the healing of the earth’s collective psyche?
