Excellent rendition. Your bass sounds great. Your tabs helped me to see your fret board fingering clearly. I can’t wait to learn this myself. Thanks for posting.

That's my favorite track. I love Elton's voice

Wow someone who has the real music notation and not just tabs! well done!

The best thing about this video, apart from the brilliant playing of course, is the fact that you add the actual notes in a proper music score, which is not always the case with bass covers on KZbin. I can learn it having seen Elton play at Dodger Stadium last year. :)

Wow, this sounds even better than the bass in the song

Easier if he used his B string. Wouldn't have to shift more than one fret.

I swear the second bar goes down in tones rather than up? Or is my hearing shot? Cause I’m listening to the instrumental and I sweat everything else you’ve done sounds right but that second bar is just throwing me off 😂 good Cover nonetheless

You have good ears too! :) I think so too! The second beat is 1 octave deeper.

Great thanks for that! Should be on a five-string though as that Eb is an octave lower

that is a 5 string tho

@@allsosavvy It is. meant to say he should be moving down to the low Bs Eb. Maybe he doesn't like the string skip. Solid player tho

Great playing. I’m just puzzled by the Fm.. I’d rather use the relative Ab instead..or at least Fm-Ab..sounds more logical harmonic-wise.✌️
@CarlSmithNZ2 жыл бұрын
It’s actually Fm7, which is basically an Ab with an F in the bass. So yeah your instinct is correct, but the bass note is definitely F.

The Bbm and Ebm should be 7ths as well.

Good attempt, but the bass line is slightly different in places e.g. before the singing kicks in.
