For anybody criticizing Elton’s vocal please keep in mind that he’s 77 yo old. In fact, this is mostly his original band. The drummer, lead guitar and percussionist are all in their 70s. And look at the level they are playing. It’s incredible. Vocal chords wear out. Get over it.

I saw Elton at the brand new, smoke free Palace of Auburn Hills near Detroit. Torn down since then of course. Back in 1989. Those chills up the spine is unforgettable. Elton using a church Cathedral organ sound to scare the piss outa ha. Every instrument and every part is perfect in this song. There was nothing like this when it came out. You could get excited, get angry or ball your eyes out..... all while rockin' out. It has everthing. 🎸🎤🥁🎶

The opening to Funeral For A Friend is creepy i don't mean the synth parts but the howling of the wind the thunder at the beginning. The band except Kim Bullard goes off stage whilst he plays the howling wind and thunder parts until the rest of the band come back on stage during the synth part followed by Elton with his moving piano after. It's extremely loud.

The wind and thunder is on a loop to cover the costume change, once E is ready to go back on that’s when Kim starts the synth intro :)

If you have listened and studied alto n for about 5 seconds It's easy to tell if he's hitting certain notes . Elton now has a very gravely tone and since about the early 2000's you could easily figure out if it's elton or not . 2022 has been an incredible year because almost all about 90% of all versions of Love Lies Bleeding have both A4's being hit . all 3 shows at dodgers stadium have very powerful A4's .

I still can't help but feel sorry for Elton John. All his wealth, fame, notoriety, his fans, success, will all stop when he dies. When he stands before Jesus, he will have to accept his ultimate fate. Unless he repents and turns from his sins before death, Sir Elton John will just be another tortured soul in Sheol, until the great White Throne Judgement, upon which he WILL kneel before his creator, Jesus Christ. The books will be opened and judgment will cast and sentence carried out. Elton John will be thrown into the Lake of Fire where the false beast and the false prophet will already be. His money won't save him. No more plastic surgeries. No more tours. No more fans. No more entertainment. Just pure torture for the rest of eternity. There will not be a good time. There will not be parties. The devil will not be enjoying his music. In fact, the devil will be the chief victim in that place. The intro to his song, Funeral for a Friend is just the absolute somber tip of what is to come for Sir Elton John and all those who reject the FREE gift of Jesus Christ; Eternal Life! You don't have to share Elton's fate. You CAN be certain that when you take your last breath on this Earth, the next moment of your realization will NOT be utter darkness, writhing bodies, grotesque moaning, wailful cries of lament and of torment. You can be assured that upon your death from this body you will be before Him who created you in the presence of the Father and the Holy Spirit! You will be welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven.... NOT because of what YOU have done; you can do nothing to save yourself. Jesus paid it all for you on that cross. All to Him we owe! However, He will never force His way into your heart. He will never break down the door to your soul. He will stand there and knock but He will not stand there forever. You will die one day and it will most likely be on a day you had no idea it was coming. You may wake up that morning, get ready for work, thinking about the dinner plans and concert you have scheduled for that evening. You put a mental note on the back burner that you need to stop by UPS and drop off a package, pay your electric bill that is past due, call about cheaper rates for your car insurance. By lunch time your head is already filled with swirling thoughts of who will watch your kids and what time you'll be home. After lunch you're already thinking you'll skip out of work 30 minutes early so you can pick up a new outfit for tonight's affair. Walking out of the store you feel a slight discomfort which quickly turns into agonizing searing pain followed by a very loud bang that almost sounded like a fire cracker. you can feel your blood flowing out of you like a geyser as you feel your lungs quickly filling up with fluid. As you fall unto your knees dread fills your entire existence as you begin to realize your plans end now. Your dinner, concert, the rest of your life are over. You don't even have time to think of your kids as your body slumps to the ground and all you can think about is that it is too late to call upon the Holy Name of Jesus as you remember this youtube comment. That whole, last of life scenario took 4 seconds yet it seemed almost like eternity. As you lie there suffocating and bleeding out, your life fades out like the final act of a theatre show. The world around you quiets down from a chaotic experience to a dull hush to nothing. The world, as viewed by your eyes, slowly grows darker as if the sun is setting with a fast forward speed. No longer can you seen colors, or even black or white. Everything is grey and getting darker until your eyes no longer see. The next thing you will know is you will be fully conscious, you'll remember everything in your life, your siblings, mother, father, the choices your made, conversation you have had. There will be an un-Earthly thick blackness all around you. You cannot see, but you can sense and hear and feel... the torture, people screaming and crying, you can sense their sadness.... but there is nothing you can do. You see, you're now in Sheol, the temporary holding compartment awaiting the Great White Throne Judgment. As your body (which is no longer occupied) is being prepared for an autopsy, your loved ones plan your funeral. The sad news is your punishment for only believing in your self, thinking YOU have the power, being one with 'the world', has not really begun. Sheol, Hades, aka the Grave, is only the beginning of your end. I don't have the heart (nor do I know) what kind of torture or punishment each one will face in the Lake of Fire but I would never ever want to find out! ASK Jesus to reveal Himself to you! Ask Him to come into your heart and show you His love! If you're sincere and mean it He will begin to change you in ways you would have never thought possible! Ask Him today, for tonight it may be too late!
