Ummm, no. He may have had a girlfriend in the late Sixties, but commited a suicide attempt connected with that story. He came out as "bi" in the late Seventies, which nearly ruined his career. He then married Renate Blauel in 1984, but divorced after a bit over three years, and then came out totally. He was together with his manager John Reid most of the Seventies, and with his now-husband David Furnish since 1992. He's definitely gay, and that's absolutely ok.

He was out in the 70's and they bashed him then. Even i his biggest fan turned away, because I couldn't handle it. I had to grow up.

no, i am just a peasant, but i cannot find it ok that so many gems of the human kind, mainly artists, call themselves homosexuals only because it is strangely fashionable, when in fact they are simply a bit insecure about women -- that´s the way i see it -- i mean i bet there are thousands of nice women out there who could "heal" him with a mere handshake sts --- maybe he should mingle more with normal people and less with princesses, fashion designers and the folks at cartier...

well, wasn´t he into women most of his life? he was married early, then he married this german woman in the eighties, he came out pretty late with that gay stuff, i believe he is more a "public gay" with a sane mind

It changed when he got "clean"...he became almost robotic and much less witty. So many interviews since then you just hear him trot out the exact same soundbite answers almost from script. People say Paul died in 1965...so why not Elton
