This song brings me back to when I was a teenager painting an Army Base in Rome N.Y. A bunch of us coworkers took a lunch break and then realized that one of our coworkers didn't come out of the building and wasn't having lunch with the rest of us. We went back in the building and there was paint fumes and our coworker was passed out on the floor. Around that time this song was playing on the radio. So we got our coworker count of the building and he survived. Thank God. So someone saved my life tonight means a lot to me even many years later😁

Yes, I saw Elton in 1993. Half the show solo, and for the second half he was joined by percussionist Ray Cooper, who was fantastic. Elton opened with "Your Song," just him and his piano, and I just remember it was pure ear candy to hear! His piano sounded so wonderful as it began to be amplified through the pavilion's sound system.

That Portland show was amazing. My buddy bught 2 front row seats and invited me. I can only look back now and think of how lucky I was to see that show. It’s such a treat listening to Elton John’s song’s, especially after not hearing them for some 30 years, but all the good memories came flooding back the min I heard the first song of his, and then another, and another, and believe me, you can’t stop at just one… Strangely enuf, I’m enjoying his songs & music more now than I did in my youth, especially the one’s he personally wrote bcuz the lyrics are timeless, comforting, humorous, sad, loving, charming, happy, and celebratory bcuz he communicates to his fans they’re not alone, and we’re all in this together… 🎤🎧Elton John’s songs, and music is entertainment that’s as good as it gets!!! 🎹 ❤️Thank you Sir John for givin’ it your all!❤️ YOU’RE THE BEST OF THE BEST!!! ❤️Love Always!❤️ 🙏🏻✝️🕊

I quite enjoyed the montage of different performances. He has influenced many musicians, and is a genius. I'm so glad I was a teenager when Goodbye Yellow Brick Road came out.

Love Elton John! I remember this song was playing on the car radio, my Dad was driving and we were going to my cousin's house. His wife had passed away to Breast cancer . Makes me think of that day.

I love this song. I sent it to my daughter in her 20’s that was going through a tough time and she replied it was one of her favorite songs. This was over a year ago. Now she’s sharing her life with someone who respects and loves her and her 5 kiddos Special Man there. I love seeing her genuine smile. My happy sweet baby girl.

Everyone knows Elton John, but he doesn't get the respect he deserves. Every song he's ever done is on point, drugs or not.

This song was playing when I kissed my childhood sweetheart for the first time while slow dancing. It was love at first sight. Wish I could say we married and lived happily ever after but it was not to be. Every time I hear this song the memories come flooding back and I get a little misty.
