I'm glad to know you haven't given up. It is not unusual at all for students to have to take the TEAS multiple times to pass. I hope my resources are helpful, and if you need to improve your Math score, which is worth about 30% of your total score, visit Brandon Craft's TEAS Math videos on youtube. He is truly a Math guru. If you need to improve your Science score (also worth about 30% of your total score), visit www.khanacademy.org and watch their videos. Be sure to take notes and use colors! Good luck to you my dear; third time's a charm!

Thank you, and I hope you've seen my FB posting about a student that I had worked with several years ago. I started working with him after he had failed 4 times. The 5th time he missed passing by only a couple of points, so I granted him permission to retest a week later (just before the nursing deadline). Not only did he pass then, but he also passed every single Nursing course the first time, as well as the NCLEX, and he now has his BSN! I admire you for not giving up. The test is not hard; it is tricky. That's why I developed the strategies. The two most import pieces of advice I can offer you is to be sure the always read the questions first, and manage your time! Good luck to you, and please let me know how well you did! :)

can you explain comma usage when you have two or more adjectives that are interchangeable? I can't remember what its called at the moment, but there is a specific usage when the order doesn't matter (no comma used) and when the order does matter (must use comma).

Question: (The all caps is kind of confusing me). When using a semi-colon to separate two complete sentences is the first word right after the semi-colon capitalized? "We traveled to Rome; it was a beautiful city." -- Would "it" be capitalized? Or do we just treat it like a comma and keep it lowercased?
@carolynmcallister14963 жыл бұрын
Hi, someone else has brought to my attention that the caps are confusing, so I plan to re-record that one. You do NOT capitalize the first word following a semi-colon. Good luck!

For the third use of a semi-colon, would sentences be incorrect if a comma was in place of the semi-colon? Example: "It is going to snow 3 feet tonight, therefore, all classes tomorrow are cancelled." English is my weakest point for this exam 😥

The most important thing to remember about semi-colons is that they are used to combine two complete sentences.
