Today we are going to prepare Ulundakali ( உளுந்தங்களி)
I am going to prepare this in chettinad style. Also this dish is given to the girls who attain puberty to strengthen their bones.
Urad Dal is rich in fibre. It helps managing diabetes. It is Good For Skin And Hair.
This dish is very easy and very tasty. This dish is often paired with Gingelly oil or ghee.
Ingredients
For Dry Roast
Urad Dal - 1/2 cup
Raw Rice - 2 Tbspn
For kali preparation
Powdered Dal & Rice - 3/4 cup
Powdered Jaggery - 3/4 cup
Water - 2 1/4 cup(including jaggery water)
Salt - pinch
Powdered cardamon - 3
