If I could I'd develop a time machine just to travel back to the era when this instrument was common and not almost uniquely rare, I'd love to see what the original era musicians thought of your incredible style and the techniques which let you integrate your own sound with a collection of instruments they could not concieve of. Excelsior.

I am not normally a listener of this music....seriously, not at ALL. However, after watching a couple of your videos on the HG, I have a previously unknown appreciation for the music and the instrument. Thank You, I sincerely appreciate your devotion to your instrument and the new line of investigation that it has opened to me. Keep up the excellent work and best wishes of safety and happiness in these trying days. Peace be with you.

This beautiful and talented woman is the secret princess of the band. Without hurdy-gurdy and Michalina the sound of Eluveitie wouldn't be what it is. I am really glad that Chrigel found her and of course Fabienne. Both are simply perfect for the band.

@zebulonswearingen99355 жыл бұрын
That was amazing. I have never experienced anything like this. Listening to this was like experiencing metal for the first time - but better. I enjoyed just how much emotion was put into this song. I could see some facial expressions, hear some haunting melody, this was just.... important. I liked the fact that this was a playthrough. Usually, I watch videos a little more than playthroughs. But most playthroughs are not THIS entertaining. And hey, I just got into Eluveitie only months ago. I was always fascinated with Anna Murphy, Merlin, etc. of course, that Eluveitie was great. But this Eluveitie is also great. The vocalists are still awesome. The band is very explosive. This hurdy gurdy playing is really intense. I would go see Eluveitie live; the tickets would be worth the money. These songs are so epic they’re like pieces, like a symphony - but somehow, they sound like nature! I was in a really awful mood. Way too many things at once. Now I feel quite a lot better, thank you for the playthrough; it was like a performance- but better. Just more interesting than a “regular” performance. More impressive and more... intimate because I can see every note and hear it at the same time. I get to choose what I notice rather than the people filming. This has not only been a fresh new idea for metal; it has been a different, very pleasant way to experience music. I love hockey games. But I saw a skills competition once and I liked that even better. Anyway, I’m glad I subscribed and, now that I have more money and time, I plan to support Eluveitie.

Actually it's understandable, why it's your favorite song. Here, leading role is fully on you) Your hurdy is a backbone of this song (I can say even covering flute and guitar parts) I actually love when some songs from album/live performance priorities someone particullary. Can compare with 'High Hopes' of Nightwish wich was actually one big 'let's show how to it's doing' from both Marco and Erno.
