My heart goes out so much to you both with this loss. I have had 2 miscarriages. Both at 20 weeks but babies wasn't growing properly due to a fibroid tumor I eventually had removed. Me and my boyfriend are currently trying to have a baby. Hopefully you guys can have another baby soon. Sending much love and support.

I had one of those experiences too, Timmy. It was the longest 2 mile drive of my life and my 5 year old kept saying, "don't cry, Mommy. You can make it!" I adore you two and wish you nothing but the best

When Tim was talking about how an early miscarriage is terrible but not the same as losing a kid, I think that is a good way to look at things and maybe bring some comfort. My cousin lost both her children (age 7 & 5) in an apartment fire when they were staying with their aunt (she also died with the kids in her arms), so so terrible. Making me cry now just thinking about the funeral. So I don’t want to minimize yr pain at all but u have sonny and this beautiful family you’ve made. Focus on that.

My mom, sister and I have ALL had miscarriages and they are awful. But your right, our bodies are imperfect and expecting perfection with each try is being untrue to what having a baby is all about. Having a baby is hard and stressful for everyone. Enjoy sunny and another sweet nugget will be in your lives before you know it. Stay positive!

Ohhhhhkaaayyyy. Y'all makin me cry every. dang. time. This one was happy tears. Happy tears hearing your gratitude and perspective, happy tears hearing your renewed hope in plans for trying again, happy tears for everyone who needed to know that this is a VERY normal thing for most women, and happy tears for Timmy not shitting his pants during "emergency diarrhea" (which I also think is a great name for your air guitar/drum duo band). Getting pregnant is a concerted effort for most people that takes more than one cycle to achieve (it can come down to lit.er.al seconds, y'all! SECONDS!) and loss of pregnancy doesn't mean your body has failed, it means your body is WORKING. This is what it's supposed to do when a pregnancy is not viable and Whitney is 1000% on it when she says that creating a human is an intensely complicated thing for a body to do and of course it can't go right every time. Y'all are just the best, that Whitney shirt is my favorite part of 2021, and, while we're on the topic of long sleeves, I really appreciate y'all sending uniforms in exchange for our quarterly cult dues. I could only afford the "Thank You and Thank You Very Much" tier this time around. Please let us know when you schedule the Kool-Aid ceremony so I can be sure to level up to "Sweat Suit" by then.

Carmel is beautiful, but that drive on the US highway 101 to get there is so scary, especially at night. My husband and I drove it once and we said never again. We were traumatized by the thick fog at dusk, light drizzle of rain, and the prospect of one slight wrong turn of the wheel leads you over a cliff! Glad you made it back safely and found a toilet. 😂

You are absolutely right, 50% of all pregnancies and in miscarriage, and most of the time we don’t even know we were pregnant and just blame it on a heavy period or a light period ..Or whatever. It’s totally okay to feel upset irrespective of it being “normal”. Yes 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage HOWEVER it still disappointing and you’re still allowed to feel all the feelings you need to process it. I got told a lot of things when I went through my first MC that made me feel like I was overreacting for being sad. “It’s normal” “at least you can get pregnant” “it’s fine, just try again” etc. I hope your time away allowed you BOTH the space to grieve. You’re such a gorgeous, positive couple. Big love to you both!!

Whitney when my progesterone levels were going super low I removed dairy and anything soy. So I had to look at what ingredients were soy but didn’t say soy and things increased exponentially and I had tried for two years and it didn’t budge until I removed soy sources. You are wonderful and I hope the best for you❤️ these are for general progesterone increase. Sometime if you can increase it daily it helps with pregnancy. I am so sorry.

I’ve had multiple losses at different times in the pregnancy and each one was devastating and soul crushing. No matter how far along I was (6 wks - 15 weeks). I don’t think you need to worry about being appropriately upset. I found this vlog very triggering and it’s been 6 years since my last loss. No hate - not trying to be critical. Everyone has to grieve and heal in their way. I’m just surprised at how this affected me - but that’s on me to take a step back and figure that out. I’m very sorry for this struggle you are going through.

maybe the process of planning a child is not the most organiic one and it gets in the way of enjoying the gifts of family- also of course he knows you'll be back actually for my nephew he gets so excited to visit grandparents and it gives them a bit of autonomy that they can enjoy things away from you and they can trust other people they can trust so anyways you guys are doing such a great job copping with this together communicating. I think when you least expect it thats when it happens and anyway within everything thats happening you have less distractins so maybe its more intense but also you have more time to be together.

Having to poop while driving is the absolute worst feeling. Like do I crap my seat, or hold on for dear life. LOL. CA is stupid beautiful. You get literally all terrain in one long state. I hope to make it back to the west coast soon. Ive only been once and it was to LA in OCT of 2019 for 2 days, which was still amazing, but we had NO time to do much. And we rented a car and LA driving scared the crap out of me. Side streets and two cars driving, plus people parked gave me such high anxiety. lol
