Movie's review: Margaret Hale & family r uprooted from their beloved home in South & move to d smoky,industrial Northern town of Milton.She is very homesick, & takes an instant dislike to Northern ways-in particular finds reason to disdain young cotton mill owner John Thornton, who is an honorable man but unfortunately gives her a very bad first impression. On the other hand, Mr. Thornton becomes quickly smitten with Margaret,most likely in part bcoz she is uniquely strong-willed & outspoken
