okay just to clarify, the elves that have newly reincarnated have either the same element or type of magic as the persons body their in, except for William and Patry who have world tree and light magic respectively and so Patry would need his own grimoire

Exactly, plus a person's attribute is determined at birth and is generally related to their parents attributes... more or less. So a grimoire has nothing to do with it, after all we saw Yuno using wind magic as a 5 yr old back in Ep. 2.

yeah, Leona is lioness in spanish but "mereo" don't have a meaning in spanish.

Patry was too young, when he reincarnated he was of age to get his Grimoire, cus william was. So he went to get his cus he now qualified All the other elves since they already had them and its their bodies that reincarnated. Their bodies with the human souls had similar magic but not the same like paint magic and scribble magic. The souls went back to their bodies Patry, has light and William has worlds tree. Those are two different elements. Everyone lines up but he is the odd one out.
