Remember that High mana attracts Anti-magic. The larger and more powerful the mana the stronger the Anti-magic reacts. Yuno knew this so he predicted Asta coming back. Asta just needed to touch his sword. The Anti-magic then did it's job taking Asta which he didn't refuse. Also, that's actually not Yuno...😳 Well kinda but yet not... I love this episode especially with the foreshadowing in this. Gotta be one of my favourites out of all the foreshadowings Tabata has done. Sadly, the thing hasn't been animated yet...

So I have been watching through another channels black clover reactions and came over here cause ep 100 was so good I wanted to see more reactions to it... and now you're talking about elves possibly descending from sylph. This isn't Dan Machi but I'm dropping some mythology history anyway. As you may know, elves as we know them today come from the works of Tolkien, and he took inspiration for them from the Norse alfs. Tracing back further the Norse alf race came from icelandic "hidden folk" which were fay creatures that occasionally appear at crossroads in the hills. The icelandic hidden folk myths came across the sea from scottish "hill folk". The scottish myths came from Irish and English myths of "The Fair Folk" - pale skinned blonde haired mysterious beings that hid in forests and hills and stole babies to raise as their own. While the myth of the fair folk moved north and gradually became elves, it also moved south into Wessex where it merged with the Cornish legend of piskies (pixies) and the fair folk became fairies. "Sylph" in mythology is specifically a fairy associated with air magic, so looking at the route of the mythologies, Sylph wouldn't be the ancestor of the elves, but they would have a common ancestor in the form of the Fair Folk.
