~ Grew up in Baltimore, when I was a kid, the Wizards (the Bullets back then) would play a few games at the Baltimore Civic Center (Arena) it was the late 70’s, and I can remember the back to back championship appearances when the Bullets matched up against the Sonics. Elvin Hayes … Bob Dandridge… another underrated great player. Honestly you could do many players from the 70’s. That era was the archetype for what the NBA would become… the 80’s of course exponentially raising that with Bird,Magic, Jordan and the historic 84’ draft… it was the 70’s players where all these players got their game. By the 90’s making the game the prototype to go global… It started in the 70’s. If you’re doing the 70’s players Dave Cowens. Kevin Porter Spencer Haywood Connie Hawkins Bobby Dandridge John Lucas David Thompson Rudy T… Sans Walt Williams the Wizard… please my guy. Trust you’ve done profiles on “lesser” accomplished players… taking into account their entire basketball career.. Get the Wizard ! Lol. Awesome documentary on him done BTW about 3 years ago.. 79’s players and Walt the Wizard Williams.

Tex winter, Rudy T, Pat riley, color commentators Stu lanz and Calvin murphy. what a throwback. Hayes was a monster, never tires and never misses a game, no load managment, averaged double figures for 15 years.

The hell he's not underrated. You millennials overuse the word in the wrong context. He may not changed the culture, but he did everything except win the MVP. Appreciate the video and your hard work yet he's not forgotten to true basketball fans.

A very good video! Hayes is a NBA 50 and 75 member so he definitely got his recognition but also played in the 70s which most often is the 'most forgotten' decade of the NBA history. Most youngsters probably haven't really heard of him so this video was well needed! Michael Adams is the ascencion prize for NBA 2K25 who I got today and was rather sad to notice his wikipedia page is rather short. I knew about his 26,5 and 10,5 season that came out 'from nowhere' beforehand but I would like to learn more about the guy. How did a 5'10" guy become one of the few to average 20+ and 10+ during the same season? A guy with the height of an average guy.
