This is terrible. This is very sad. After all these years, we the fans hang on to an undying legacy made possible by the most unique individual and entertainer who ever lived. Yes, we are fulfilled alone by the music and movies and the concerts that Elvis did and left behind. With no regrets we are luckiest fans in the world. With that said, while there is so much that could yet be salvaged and made available to those who remain faithful and long for something new. Something unseen. Something unheard. Yet, we continue to receive scraps and the reminder that money alone takes precedent over the fans and Elvis's true legacy. EPE acts like a modern day Col. Parker.

Bullshit..Every time an "Elvis fan" posts an incomplete take or alternate early take Elvis song on here they're being worse than Parker. Everytime a fan bought regurgitated songs on different "new alhum" titles they financed this mentality. Except for a few exceptions, fans should have only bought versions or takes of songs released by Elvis when he was alive. When RCA started making up all these alt takes compilations fans should have stayed away. This is a result of fan behavior who voted for what they wanted with their wallets....you only have them to blame.

But, hearing Elvis in rehearsal, being himself, going through the motions of putting together what we've had to hear for years is worth its weight in Gold. Most fans of most artists even today never get this pleasure. And, no one did it in a more entertaining way than Elvis. With that said, there is much more that has not been heard and seen. Only one way for that to happen other than in bootleg form. They package it, we buy it.....Or, we get nothing. If you lived when Elvis lived, you bought a ticket or you didn't get to see the show.

In '84, I got a Graceland exclusive gold vinyl 45 RPM. Joan Dreary distributed them after a preview of Elvis' 50th birthday releases. Given the ongoing pandemic, I am unlikely to go to Memphis. Moreover I'm in Canada so I could never make use of an annual pass. If there was a package without the tickets, I might pay 150.

The annual pass does not include August 15th and 16th. If I do visit Memphis, I would fly-in, from Canada, for the 15th and 16th. On other days, there is an option to upgrade to the VIP tour. US$600 + shipping is a lot for six 45s.

I bought this set and received it during Elvis week. We live in Birmingham, AL and travel to Memphis often enough that it makes sense to get it for the pass. I don't feel like the records or clothing swatch are worth $600, but combined with the pass, it was worth it.

I don't know why everyone's freaking out about this. Can I afford it? No, if I could afford it would I get it? Absolutely. I think a lot of people on this channel probably can afford it. Would it be nice if it was more than just singles? Sure but let's be honest here. I'm pretty sure there's nothing they can release that we haven't already heard unless they somehow miraculously got a video of the Pearl harbor performance.

Holy moly, and I thought the 1978 release of «Elvis Sings For Children And Grownups Too!», was the bottom of the barrel! Incredible to think that in 2021 this is the c-r-a-p they are trying to sell the faithful. What about a quality, extended, version of «Elvis On Tour», with a lot of unreleased bonus footage, carefully planned and promoted, cooperating with fans who really know their subject(Elvis)..? Agree with you. Not worth it unless you plan on using the annual pass on a regular basis. They should have a included a tour of Graceland hosted by Priscilla and an exclusive On Tour FTD vinyl in the package. Then if only used the annual pass during Elvis Week it would be worth the $600 bucks.

Take or leave the Box set - it’s a novelty thing - I must say that I had the LP box set from the 70’s with the cutting from Elvis wardrobe... it was a piece of thin plain black cotton cloth approx. 2 inches by 2 inches . Could not tell what it was from - a shirt ? Too thin for jacket or pants -even at my age at the time 12/13 I thought it was fake ...?? The albums were great though !!!

Not gonna get it and I bet the On Tour Box Set is gonna be between $450-$550 or more. I was trying to get all the FTD releases but with the price of The Making of Viva Las Vegas and The Making of Jailhouse Rock sets I'm done!! Going to go back to upgrading my vinyl collection

Hi Richard. I have been to Graceland/Memphis 11 different times since 1981. You are okay going. Memphis is a great city but like all big cities make sure you research ahead of time. I have NEVER had a problem. "Midwest guy."

I’ve been to Graceland 4 times, I know you’ve been Ed as well. I don’t want to expose too much, but I’ve had some business dealings with EPE, they are not a grade A outfit, I’ll leave it there. This set makes zero sense, why not instead something every fan that visits would buy to recognize 45 years. I still have an unworn 35th anniversary shirt from 2012. They’ll probably break one of the lions out front into 50 pieces in 2027 and auction them off, TCB Ed ⚡️

That 's not worth $600.00. They should sell the 45 record collection by itself without a seasoned pass. Those records aren't original pressings. As for the Swatch. You probably still get it with that box set. I saw that and I was discussted with those whole package. That $600.00 is a pass for 1 person. I would never get this. Too much money. Yuck!

I love her in his movies the songs in that movie the humour everything but as I say I love that all and will probably move to another soon, I love the song "I'm leaving " and "animal instict" ⁷and heartbreak hotel will always have a special place in my heart because that was the first elvis song my mum played me when I was little and my favourite jumpsuit is the "dragon suit" from 1974.... there is a book called Enter the dragon " dedicated to it will loads of pics... how about you karen? My favourite album is Elvis is back but that keeps changing also. Atm I love "Without Love" it's so hard to pick just one. I also love "it feels so right" and "mess of blues". Just cancelled my subscription. To listen to this overly dramatic interpretation of a company EPE, offering a promo, which no one has to purchase and you’re really not losing out on anything if you don’t go. As you point out ad nauseum, it’s not like there is a free raffle for a popular jumpsuit, but you must visit Graceland during Elvis Week and purchase the expensive package in order to qualify! Just ignore it. I don’t think Elvis’ image has been tarnished beyond repair. I go back to 1956, and I think no less of him, nor will anyone else. Spend your time getting Elvis out to the youth of today, who don’t know who he is and are shocked at how brilliant he is and can’t believe he recorded songs like “In the Ghetto.”
