@lisamariepagliei39454 жыл бұрын
I completely agree with you, I must say. He was the most beautiful, most talented and the most generous celebrity, he was fierce and a force to be reckoned with. But He was human and I think people sometimes forget that about him. As supernatural as he was, he was born in the natural and that is how he died. His legacy is powerful and I don't believe another human being will ever compare.
@Phoenix78784 жыл бұрын
@@lisamariepagliei3945 never expected a reply to a comment I posted 10yrs ago! - time flies. Yeah, he was so very human...I'm actually drawn more to that part of him because that's what made him so genuine,,,,it was always there on stage, off etc. PEACE!

@southerngirl99414 жыл бұрын
@@Phoenix7878 thank you, you stay safe, too. Yes, he will. I like to think he looks down, seeing how many people still love him and his legacy and thinking 'yeah, it was worth it, now I understand'. The whole world shd know really. I'm a believer, but not a fanatic, but I've often thought about the lives of Jesus and Elvis and found there are parallels, their pains, their early ends ... I don't know, at the end of the day neither one can be explained and fully understood. This is probably the magic. Have a nice day!

Hello from England When ELVIS started to go back on tour in 1969 his FAME was so much different than in the 50's. Having watched a lot of videos all you see is him getting off a plane and into a car, getting on a plan from a car.

I was just telling my youngest son about the total rage people feel when someone attempts to talk down on Elvis. Reading the comments here was a good example. I was born an Elvisfan and I also feel offended when someone talks bad aboout Elvis.. I kind of get the feeling that "He is dead, it's my responsibility to stand up for him when he no longer can".. anyway, great video, Elvis forever!

Элвис на протяжении всей своей жизни был красавец и до последних дней. Его статная фигура, гладкое, немного округлившийся лицо, очень приятно и симпатично. А смерть наступила внезапно, что очень печально.

Wrong. Elvis had $1,055,173.69 in his personal checking account when he died- which is $4,091,463.18 in today's money. Plus he owned 4 houses (not including Graceland) and he personally owned 2 airplanes worth £2,000,000. Elvis was far from broke when he died- he was still a very wealthy man.

Colonel Tom Parker (born Andreas Cornelis van Kuijk in the Netherlands) left just after his girlfriend was killed - he snuck aboard a container ship and worked his way to USA once being a dog catcher in Florida!! He served in the US Army under a man named Captain Tom Parker!!!! Colonel was an honorary title. A normal managers fee is 10% but he was charging Presley up to 50% by the end of his career Parker needed the money to cover HUGE gambling debts - and he lived in Vegas!!
@michaelconsuegra73164 жыл бұрын
He got more than half percentage which he probably wasn't supposed to. I think he was the one who put Elvis is in big debt. I read in some article from Life Magazine back in 1990 and it said that if Elvis had lived after 1977 there was a good chance he would've had to file for bankruptcy.

Why compare Elvis to the Beatles. Elvis was the first of his kind. He changed music. He could sing everything well rock, country, blues, popular, love songs R and B, gospel etc. He also did it all by himself. The Beatles had 4 individuals to deal with all the pressure. The Beatles idolized Elvis and John Lennon said, " before Elvis there was nothing". Elvis also created an atmosphere were black music was accepted by white audiences. This helped the Civil rights movement and integration. Elvis was historic.
