Amazing to me how nobody ever mentions the sheer brilliance and power of Steve Nieve in these clips. The whole band is amazing but as a rock keyboard player I've found so much inspiration in this mad genius' work throughout Elvis' career.

Elvis knows how fortunate he was/is to have such a great band backing him. He mentions it several times in his well written autobio.

You really have to work hard to figure out this song ,still haven't got that bridge. What an interesting rhythm. Amazing , genius, miles ahead of everyone else . The greatest artist of our time.

Interesting how EC slips in a quote of Jobim's classic "A Insensatez" (How Insensitive) in his guitar solo (2:30-2:58) - nice mash up.
