I'm from this era, meaning this was part of the music of my generation. I loved EC back then, when no one listened to him except us "freaks" and "new wave punks." I'm still a huge fan, and am so happy to see his career has had the success this poet and musician deserves. Glad so many of this generation are re-discovering him.

A true lyricist and musician. I was 9 in 1977 and my older brother played costello on his turn table. I haven't been the same since. I'm thankful for that day.

I agree . When I saw Elvis on Saturday Night Live back in 1979..it changed my whole world.I'll never forget it. He did Allison, Radio Radio and Watchin the Detectives off the album My Aim Is True..This man has talent coming out of his ears.

So your contribution to this performance is your "opinion" of the drummer's physical appearance?? How pathetic. Very easy to sit behind a computer and trash people. Generally, "insecure" people like tearing someone else down to build themselves up. FYI- the drummer's name is Pete Thomas, who's been with Elvis since the beginning of The Attractions. He's also very well respected by his drumming peers, and many other musicians within the rock industry. Can you claim anything even close to that?
