With the excetion of Ann-Margret, his earelier relationships with June and Anita are brimmng with much more warmth, love and hope in them. You don't get that from any of his other relationships, imo.

It seems that Elvis and June had the most real love relationship Elvis ever experienced. From that point on his fame would make it impossible for Elvis to know if someone loved him for himself. Young love stays with you forever.

I'm glad I came across this video on your channel ..it mentions ARTHUR HOOTEN ,who was a very good friend to Elvis ,so was Arthur's sister ,Curline...who was my mother... Arthur HOOTEN was my uncle ..he sadly passed in 2006, three yrs after my mom passed. EPE and George Klein sent a beautiful spray to my uncle's funeral..for awhile Arthur was part of Elvis' Memphis mafia group..he went to Vegas and Hollywood with them often..Elvis even gave Arthur a cameo role in the movie Jail House Rock. Elvis,Arthur and Curline became friends while in school. And their mothers knew each other. The pics of my uncle in this video I had not seen before. it was fascinating seeing them for the first time!

He didn't call her for her birthday or Christmas. He sends a telegram 5 months later and expects her to run off to Graceland? Amazing! I would have dumped him too! However, I don't think he led her on. He loved her but he was just beginning to become this huge star. He came back to get her and bring her to Graceland but she was upset about Christmas. In the end, he needed a pushover like Priscilla. Prissy let him cheat and was a doormat.

I'm so tired of people saying Parker created Elvis. Elvis was already a raising star when Parker heard of Elvis. Parker seen $$$ signs when he seen Elvis for the first time. Elvis was already headlining shows throughout the south. Make no doubt about it, Elvis was going to be a Hugh star no matter who managed him. Unfortunately Parker became Elvis's manager and that was the start of the worst partnership in music history. Parker stopped Elvis from doing world tours. Parker stopped Elvis from doing movies he really wanted to do like "A Star Is Born". Parker stopped Elvis from recording so many great songs because Parker said any song Elvis records, he owns half of the publishing rights. All of the great song writers wouldn't give up half of their publishing rights to Elvis just because he wanted to record it. From everything I have seen and read c about Parker. I have nothing good to say about him. In one of parkers last interviews, he said he discovered Elvis and made Elvis a star. That is not true. The first time "that's alright mama" was played by Duey Phillips, Elvis was a star. Duey received so many calls when he first play that song, that he played it seven times in a row and everyone wanted to know who was singing that song. Elvis started touring and became the headliner almost immediately. Parker did NOT create or discover Elvis. Sam Phillip's secretary discovered Elvis when he recorded a 45 for his mother's birthday. She kept Elvis's phone number and kept telling Sam you have to do something with that young man. When Sam finally met Elvis, he knew Elvis was different, something special, someone with a lot of potential. Sam introduced Elvis to Scotty Moore and Bill Black. They worked together for months but just couldn't get it right. Than late one night, Elvis and Scotty were messing around and starting playing a song really fast instead of its orginal way as a ballet. Sam heard it, yell to Elvis, what was that. Elvis apologized and said they were just messing around. Sam said do it again it was perfect. Within a few hours Elvis recorded his first professional record. Parker was nowhere in sight.

Yeah Parker was a POS he ruined Elvis in so many ways, it’s a shame that Elvis didn’t get rid of him after returning from the army, instead of making most of those silly movies he really should’ve picked up where he left off, he was always greatest when he was on stage performing, Parker didn’t care about the artist, his interest was money, like you said Parker didn’t allow Elvis any freedom to do anything beyond the United States and that basically put Elvis on a hamster wheel and he worked him to death, he should’ve been thrown into prison for that!

Very beautiful and rare photos of Sweet JUNE and ELVIS, some I'VE never seen. Their Love was beautiful and their time together was too short. They enjoyed as much time as possible before time ran out. ELVIS and JUNE had to realize, even though it broke their hearts💔 his career demands were keeping a distance between them. JUNE could see what ELViS couldn't, his career was becoming too demanding for a serious commitment to each other. It ended bittersweet. JUNE has treasured memories to keep forever. Scotty was such a awesome sweet man who cared so much about Elvis. Elvis had so few close friends but scotty was a great friend. For the 68 comback special Elvis insisted on scotty coming to play and sing with them. Scotty said he did it for Elvis. As a result the colonel wouldn’t repay them back for their air fair. Scotty and DJ came out to do the show. Bill had already passed away of a brain tumor.

It was interesting to learn that as many cars Elvis bought for his friends and perfect strangers, he never rewarded Scotty’s wife with a new car. After all, it was her car that was used in the beginning of his career for a couple or three years traveling all around the south while she had to take public transportation to work while they were gone.

Debra paget was a movie star for Howard Hughes. He had people follow her around and check to see who was at her house according to Lamar Fike. So for her to see Elvis one or two of his guys go pick her up to bring her to his house in the Hollywood hills.

@@anY-bf9ud well they’re technically half sisters. But they were definitely raised together, Idk why it wouldn’t have been mentioned as such but that’s the truth and possibly why June has never wanted to meet my mother (her niece) or I. My grandmother looks just like her and there are countless photos of them growing up together. Additionally, I recognize the photos in these pics because they’re my grandmothers childhood home lol. They made a cute couple. Elvis told his step brother Billy that there were only two women he had loved and Billy said that Elvis told him that everyone would be surprised. I am thinking she might be one of the mystery women. Personally, I think Linda would be the other. I would be surprised if it wasn’t these two ladies. Although Linda wouldn’t be a surprise.
@nenabunena

No not Linda. He avoided Lina after and told her brother that he loved Linda but he wasn't in love with her, and if that would pose a problem of him working for Elvis. He also was avoiding Lindas calls and when she tried to visit. The other is definitely Ann Margret because 1 month after he married Priscilla he visited AM and got on 1 knee to profess his love to her. He also told his other gfs in the 70s that he was hurt AM had moved on. When AM had an accident, he wanted to see her and she said they can't. AM still loved him but she was faithful to her husband. Another contender was Anita as he told her later in the 70s that he made a mistake in letting her go for Priscilla.

I have been crazy about Elvis since I was 9 years old and was born two years before he died, so I don't even belong to his generation. This having been said, what an amazing example of self-esteem to let Elvis go and considering how unfaithful he was to Priscilla Presley even before they were married, even better that June gave him his due! There is not excuse for making others suffer, not even being ELVIS PRESLEY!

I've tead June's book and found it a beautiful love story! I cried when she broke it off with him, but he understood why she had to do it. I think June was the type of woman that wasn't able to take any crap or taken for granted by anyone including Elvis. I'm sorry it didn't work out for them. I think they were good for each other and I think June would have kept Elvis on the straight and narrow. I'd love to meet her sometime or let her know that I really enjoyed her book.
