The very first minute of the recording was so revealing, in terms of the development of the new sounds coming out of the late 60's, entering a the then cutting edge stuff for the 70's. Elvis' music was revelatory, in that he was always cutting edge, always looking to get a jump on new sounds, new styles. He was totally into it.

milsap loved elvis.he was on the verge of tears recently on elvis radio." he said "i wish some one could have gotten to him so he could be with us today" milsap,berry,medly,brown,the platters etc.. all loved elvis and called him the best singer ever.chuck berry didn't think E spoiled his songs.he said"i don't have the time to tell ya how good Elvis was" u no more than him?

This would have a good song for him. I find the recording balance is very poor it does not capture the essence of Elvis' voice too shallow.
