Great version...he captured the early style after a while (the high notes, etc...that prompted screams ...seemed surprised himself.

Heard that Elvis never liked this song & would mess up singing it consciously & unconsciously, the Colonel Tom Parkers wife liked the song but Elvis did not want to record it, Tom Parker pressed him into it anyway, I can only guess Elvis resented the song and did a little rebellion by messing it up when he sings it.
