When I recall back to when I first heard this song,close to Christmas '65, I was like 15, and that became my 2nd favorite Christmas song! Still is! My favorite is LITTLE DRUMMER BOY, the version done by the Harry Simeone Chorale! I play these even out of season, to remind me that being neighborly to everyone can work year round! Works for me! I can say before you even start to tell what you think about the video that for me it makes me cry every time. My husband was killed in a car wreck 28 years ago my daughter was two and a half months and my son was three years old. I love this song and I still listen to it and I still cry because it's not bad to cry sometimes it's good to get those feelings out it's funny though when Elvis sings it I can feel it and it makes me cry but when everybody else sings it I don't really get the the Deep hurt in my heart that comes out. This year the guy I dated for 12 years but we have been separated for 14 years and he was married twice after we separated and divorced last after we separated when we were together longer then his first wife was he met and had an divorce before he met me and then his other two wives that he married after I left him because I quit drinking to hit want to I gave my by my life back to God and he didn't understand it David tell me to stop preaching to him and go out and be a preacher. He died May 26th he drank himself to this I know why it's because he lost me we were deeply in love we had been apart for 14 years and he would be married and call me let me not say where's your wife and he'd say playing Solitaire and I'd say Mark you can't call me like this you're a married man and then a couple years ago by my phone would ring and let him said hey what are you doing and now I hear that blue Christmas song it really hits my heart because I did love Mark I just had to let him go because I love God more than I love him. I am afraid that he may be in hell but then again cuz sister told me he would speak every now and again you could understand him you called out my name three times and they didn't call me so I hope what I said came back to his memory and he hollered out in his heart for Jesus to save him. If people but I only get to know Jesus they would see how good he is I haven't been watching your videos lately because you've been doing a lot of wicked evil stuff other people might not consider it that way but I do but that's just my opinion and everyone has one and that's all I got to say and I love this song and I'll probably cry listen to into it!
