Steven. Elvis was very good live. HOWEVER, IT'S his critically acclaimed body of work in the recording studio that shows his true artistry and depth and diversity. See, singing on stage is a real gift. But without critically acclaimed recordings? Your nothing more than a Wayne Newton. Just an entertainer. What sets the king apart, is the critically acclaimed body of work that he left behind. In the music industry, that's what makes you an artist with very few peers. His studio recordings are pure art. Pure perfection. In the studio his diversity was remarkable.

Thank you for your kind words for Elvis. I‘m a german fan since many, many years (1976). On Elvis Birthday I‘m cooking some food from the southern states for my family to honor Elvis. We love him so much! I stood at his grave many times, visited Graceland more than 10 times. I met Priscilla on TCB Cruise, Ronnie Tutt, James Burton, Glen Hardin, Jerry Schilling… I met his Friend George Klein two times in Memphis. I was visited his Home in Palm Springs, saw the Honeymoon house, was sleeping in the Hilton Hotel in LV (before the International Hotel In which he gave over 600 concerts). I was visiting the Film Location from Follow that Dreams in Crystal River an from King Creole in New Orleans… I love him and his music so much! Thank you for your remember and honoring Elvis! This is great, when a young person did this. 🌻❣️

This Elvis performance is one of my favorites! He really had a very special talent for interpreting songs much better than the original singers. Sweet Caroline, My Way, Something, etc., are just a few. The first time I watched this show on TV here in Brazil I was 13 years old. And this scene was marked in my mind.
