I like this 2 for 1 special. A ballad and a rocker. Two of Elvis' biggest hits. Your reaction was great on both songs. I like it when Elvis at the end of the first song in the video threw his cape into the audience. One fortunate person became the owner of a precious souvenir. More proof of Elvis as the greatest entertainer. Nobody put on a show like he did.

What was missing was his mom. He changed after that. Then when Priscilla left, that's when things started to go downhill. With the Colonel having him perform two shows a night, seven days a week in Vegas, he was stretched too thin and it started to show. He was still amazing to the very end though.

play "treat me nice", not sure if you did "you gave me a mountain" from Aloha 73, "Mean Woman Blues"', "Dont Be Cruel" "Its Now or Never" "The Wonder of You"...gosh can go on and on..he recorded 700 songs and 33 movies in a 20 year career... and on top of that was so giving... I think he never recovered from his twin brother dying at birth (yes, there could have been 2 Elvis) and his mom dying in his early 20's He loved his Mom so much so all those songs show his sadness with his enormous talent. God sent us an Angel for 42 years. The quintessential rags to riches story and he just gave gave and gave back

Elvis started doing Can't Help Falling In Love as his closing song with his live comeback in Vegas in 1969. He closed every concert for the rest of his life with that song, and he never did encores. Burning Love was his last top five hit, released in 1972. Elvis actually wasn't fond of the song, but when it became a big hit, he knew he had to do it live for the fans.

I really do appreciate you guys playing Elvis, in this difficult time of virus and black lives matter. Elvis was born poor in Mississippi, he befriended his African American neighbors, listened to their music , was greatly influenced by their style and music, he never had racist bone in his body, there was a story I heard, about when Elvis was a boy he was having an ice cream cone, a young black boycame along and said," boy wish I had one of those" Elvis said" come here and I will share with you", now don't know for sure if story is true, but sounds like Elvis. If a white man could be considered a brother by black community, Elvis would be it. It's appropriate Elvis lived in Memphis, home of civil rights, and tragedy of mr.king. I'm a white Canadian female by the way, read a lot on slavery, black history, and Holocaust. All these terrible things caused by the whites, but Elvis showed that a white man could do good , by hi generous spirit, love of gospel, talent, etc.He loved all peoples. Thank you for honoring this man, we need his music today, catch some of his catchy movie tunes, they really are cute and fun to watch. Bless you guys, a new fan.

It cut off too short, you ought to see how he leaves the building, they always had to announce that Ladies and Gentlemen--Elvis has left the building. I ordered the dvd set from Graceland with the uncut version and before this song I think he's doing A Big Hunk Of Love and he throws his belt out there. I read the man that caught the cape kept it and instead of auctioning or selling for a million or whatever donated it back to Graceland and it sets at Graceland on display along with this iconic . I visited Graceland last yr. and got to see all this suits and clothes there on the Graceland grounds, I have pictures and everything. You ought to see his wall of fame!!! All his concerts ended with I Can' Help Falling in Love, what a way to end a concert telling people that. You need to also see how he entered a concert, the anticipation, the build up. Look up his introduction song which is called Space Oddosey 2001 and C.C. Rider is what he started most of his concerts with. Man--it gives you goose bumps. He got so famous after the '68 Comeback Special that he never had to be introduced again. They played this music which is still played on commercials and movies and WWE wrestlers use this their intro. Elvis would pick his moment and appear on stage. He had the greatest entrance, the greatest exit and perhaps the greatest show on Earth!!!

When Elvis was younger he stopped at a car dealer. As he was walking in a young black girl walked out of the dealership crying. Elvis asked what was wrong. She explained that they wouldn't sell her a car. She said she needed a car to get a job to pay for her going to college. Elvis took her by the hand and walked back inside and he bought her that car. He then told her to be at Graceland the next day for her new job. Her job was to sit at the dining room table and study. All she had to due was bring him a plate of food before she went home. And by the way he paid for her to go college. Unbelievable!!!

Do the original Trying To Get To You compared to the 68 ComeBack Special and listen to the maturity of his voice 21 years old vs 33.

Jimmy Ellis (Orion) did "Burning Love" better than Elvis. I say that as a long-time, avid Elvis fan.

Ah! So disappointed. Can’t help falling in love is the last song but you played it first, and you cut it off. Also, I really wish Mel open her eyes since she is reacting to a video.
