I watched a documentary and the Memphis Mofia guys said that Elvis was hurt bad because every woman in the world was throwing them selves at him and the one woman he wanted to be with left him for another man. It couldn't have come at a better time. I would listen to it everyday on the way to work. He walked in the Light. The morning my Grampa passed to our Heavenly Father, just hours prior, my car turned on the CD by itself when I started it & it played Elvis's "Milky White Way" by itself! They both loved and adored their daughter from the moment shecwas born , even when divorced put their child first and raised her together, Lisa even said she didn't even realise they were divorced, Lisa was their priority, always. Neither Elvis or Priscilla expected to fall pregnant as quickly as she did, naturally they BOTH had their concerns, but after much thought BOTH decided to go ahead with the pregnancy, neither of them.had the heart not to proceed. Priscilla wanted herself and her new husband to be able to spend time together, something they,d spent very little of as the mm guys were always around them, Elvis himself had told them that once he was married the partying days would be ending , and they did NOT like it at all. They saw Priscila as coming between them aw diddums, she always knew they were not a good influence on him . Elvis adored Priscilla till his dying day, he was lost without his wife and child, but he knew she had always loved him and always would. They both wronged each other, fame fortune, its trappings , temptations and way too many enablers prevented them both from.growin old together. Their hearts had an unbreakable breakable bond only they were privilege to, losing Priscilla opened up the chasm of searing pain he'd felt when he lost his beloved mama, only this time, his body and mind were in a much frailer state and simply couldn't cope. 😔 She lost him once to their irretrievable marriage breakdown and secondly to the finality if his passing, to this day she honours his memory and his legacy and I feel he will.be very very proud of her. Just as he loved her till.his dying day, she too will.love him till hers.

I believe Priscilla, believed in her heart, that she would go back to Elvis, after she got to do what she wanted. But unfortunately, there is one thing she didn't know. That we all come with a date stamped, on our foot. That only God can see. And Elvis, had his. He came to this world, as a glowing fire. But his flames were diminishing, as he tour, more & more. Just like a candle, dying little by little. He pushed himself, too far. And I think towards the end, even doing what he loved, it became a shore, & not being enjoyed anymore. Everyone, around him lived off him. Too much of burden to carried, & stressful. But he went on. Priscilla, I'm sure, she has suffered, & wandered, if she had gone back? . But she was young, & thinking of herself. But she had to live with the consequences, of her actions, all those years ago. We learned this once we grow old. Tears for him because of the pain i feel in every song of breakup and parting that he sang. His carreer was far too important to him than Priscilla. When he realised it was too late. Every song that he sings about the pain of losing her is heartwrenching. My husband of 40 years has been suffering from mental health issues for a few years now and there's nothing between us cos he's cut himself off from reality. Im grieving our relationship and what you shared about our tears is so true. I have to cry it out from to time, if not the pain and loneliness is too hard to bear. Thank you.

A LOT of the time he was AWAY, it’s wasn’t like a normal relationship where the man is home every day or night. She said he wasn’t cut out to be married and they remained friends. Nothing said about love. But if it was “love” it was superficial because neither one was faithful to the other. He wasn’t distraught, he was mad and his ego threatened that she cheated, typical of a man who lives by “what’s good for the goose is not good for the gander.” Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love and respect Elvis so much. But I think their relationship was way over romanticized. Elvis loved all the women he was with and yes he loved Priscilla too but it was more of a just good friendship kind of love because of Lisa. Priscilla was just one of the many women he loved.

Divorcing "CIIa" is the best thing that Elvis ever did. I have idolized Elvis since I was in elementary school. Cilla lived with him for about 10 years at age 14yrs. old and knew his life style and how he was gone when he toured. But when they got married she wanted a change. She wanted Elvis home more even knowing how popular he was and how much he toured around the country. This all had to change now that they were married and with a daughter. So by divorcing her Elvis got his freedom back. And when he got engaged to Ginger Alden she went with him while he was touring and doing concerts. She accepted his life style. Why couldn't "CILLA?" I still listen to Elvis and went to his concert when I was a teenager. He's was great then and still is that great today. I watch his concerts on TV. His 25th anniversary tour of his death is great. He looks so handsome and he sings his songs from his heart. His fans will forever miss him. Even though I was in Memphis at Graceland when he died that memory will never leave me. "Elvis be the Rock and Roll King in Heaven". I pray his is with Lisa Marie now.

We Elvis gave the reason why they divorced because of too much travel and he had no time with his wife ..I watched his last concert so many times as behavior and body language analyst Elvis tried his best to look good and tried his best to perform as it was his last time..he had his premonition that he will die young maybe because he was suffering depression that no one knew ..he was not able to overcome the divorced to release the emotional pain he indulged himself to prescription pills more than the amount prescribed..he knew it's not good to his health but because of too much work and feeling too tired that's the main cause of insomia I had insomia when I was in college because I wanted to maintain my full scholarship so I studied till midnight that the cause. but what healed my insomia was prayer .I keep on praying to God to help me to have a good slee

Maybe he planned the wedding to be at her fertile time in her cycle so their first time would result in pregnancy. That would have been easy enough to do. We can never know unless Priscilla tells. Therefore, her action could be one of the reasons why Elvis died at an early age. In the song Don't Cry Daddy, we can hear that he was always crying in his bed because, despite all the fame, he realised that he didn't go home to his wife and daughter but to an empty bed that made him realise that his family is broken. He was a man of perfection, as usual, he always knew if he worked hard, he can always achieve and solve things but to change Pricilla's heart was one thing that he can't do. She could have put her foot down instead of giving him enough rope to damage the marriage. She left Elvis for Michael Stone and they lasted just a few short years. She also allowed Colonel Parker to ruin Elvis' life. Parker prevented Elvis from having an acting comeback. As a wife she could have done alot.to avoid the tragedies that occured.

Wow. Elvis was responsible for Elvis. They tried to help him. Lisa once said that her dad was the boss, who surrounded himself with, “yes men.” If you tried to go against him he would kick you out. He had the money and power. He refused a colostomy. You can’t put all of his issues on another human being, that is not only unfair, but unrealistic.
